EXCELLENT EXERCISE BIKE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
This is a wonderful exercise bike! Sturdy construction. Easy to assemble. Absolutely silent operation. Fully adjustable for fit and comfort. Great magnetic resistance function. I have been using this bike daily for over a year with no problems or malfunctions. I highly recommend this Sunny bike.

Great value, great bike, and solid option for DIY Peloton
***Update (over a year later, 3/8/21)*** Bike is still going strong. I had a small maintenance issue with the left pedal crank arm and pedal threads, but luckily the bike was still under warranty and they sent me new pieces. Make sure your pedals are tight before/after each ride to ensure you don't damage those threads! I'm so glad I went the Sunny/build-your-own-peloton route, because while I love riding the bike, I found myself enduring some boredom here and there. So it's nice not being tied to the Peleton ecosystem and $39/month bike subscription. At least at $13/month for the app I don't feel too bad if I choose another cardio method a few days per week. I did modify the handles by adding some padding...not because the handles hurt, but because apparently I have short arms and I was finding myself out of position reaching for the handles. I saw others use really thick pool noodles wrapped around the bars. I just used old t-shirts and it worked just fine. The wahoo sensors continue to give all the info I need to be effective in my rides while following Peloton instructors on the app. I still absolutely recommend this bike and the setup I described below. I'm sure I would have liked/loved the Peloton, but I'm glad I ended up not spending all that money. ****Original review**** (2/29/20) Really happy with this bike so far. About 50 rides so far (January 2nd through February 29th) by my wife and I. I'm 5'10", she's 5'4", and we both fit on the bike. I will say the position of the handlebars is a little further forward than I would like (when fully adjusted back). I would say my arms are average length for my height, and with the seat in the right position for placing my knees in the right place, I have to reach out a decent amount to get to the handle bars. I use the Peloton app and I notice the instructor's arm position is way more angled at the elbow than mine and I can feel the soreness in my shoulders and triceps after a week's worth of rides. But that is my only complaint/issue. The rest of the bike is sturdy, well-built and an insane value! The magnetic resistance is fantastic. The bike is quiet and rides really smooth. Adjustments are easy to make for seat and handlebars. I replaced the pedals with clip-in pedals, so can't speak to the included pedals. Currently using the Wahoo cadence and speed senors as well as the Wahoo heart monitor strap to track my stats. Definitely a cost-effective and solution-effective option vs the full Peloton bike. Glad I have the extra $28/month from the subscription in my pocket plus the $1700 difference between the bikes/setups.

Excellent quality and value
**5 Month Update** I have logged about 275 miles on this bike at this point. I still love it! Once in a while I will notice clicking, but that can be solved by tightening up the bolts on the bottom frame. One problem I noticed is that over time the seat sinks lower down. It takes 2 minutes to readjust, and I'm back in the saddle again, so to speak. I purchased this after a year of using a much older Sunny bike that I bought used for $80. That bike was another solid Sunny product, but it was chain driven and had a felt resistance pad. That means I had plenty of good rides, but the bike was loud and it was hard to adjust the seat and handlebars. I told myself that if I could stick with it for a year and still liked indoor cycling then I could upgrade. When I finally bought this bike I was super nervous that I had spent the money frivolously, that I could have gotten by with my old bike longer. All those worries melted away when I rode this bike for the first time. The ride is so smooth and quiet! It's easy to adjust and move around. The magnetic resistance makes my workouts more predictable and consistent than the friction resistance on my old bike. My performance and workouts have improved simply because I have quality equipment to work with now. A couple things I've noticed, the first few rides I had to keep stopping to readjust my seat height, as it was sinking lower and lower as my ride went on. I think it was just hard for me to turn it tight enough but I finally managed to get it to stay. Also one of the pedals began clicking throughout use and I recommend that if that happens for you stop and tighten your pedals immediately so it doesn't turn into a big problem. My pedal was clicking and it took a few minutes but after I tightened it back in place it went back to a silent ride. I only have about 15 rides on this bike so far and I will periodically update my review.

Great bike, one issue, easy return
EDIT: I did end up repurchasing and the new one has zero issues. Totally worth the purchase, and even the slight hassle of returning & repurchasing (which wasn’t even a big hassle!) Original review: I purchased this bike back in September and it was pretty easy to assemble, after much difficulty getting it up three flights of stairs. I definitely don't recommend trying to do this alone... After fully assembling, I discovered the handlebars did not fully tighten, which left them wobbly. Sunny Health & Fitness customer service was a little difficult to get ahold of, but eventually we connected and they told me the whole bike would need replaced. Luckily Amazon made it really easy. I decided to return the bike and do a little more research to see if there was another bike out there I'd rather buy in case the replacement bike has the same issue. Returning through Amazon was easy, I just scheduled a time frame for pick-up and they took the bike fully assembled since I didn't have any of the packaging. After some research, I think I'm going to repurchase this bike after all and hope that the new one doesn't arrive with the same issue. Everything else about the bike was great -- it felt sturdy and was quiet! I really like that it's simple and doesn't have any frills like a monitor or pulse sensors. One last note, I'm 5'2" and I had to have the seat and handlebars as close as they can go, so if you're short, you may want to take a close look at the measurements of the bike before purchasing!

It is a good comercial bike for indoor. Yes Is worth it
Hello Everyone, (Original Post made Nov 30th, 2019 on reddit website but want to post it here too as it pertains to this very important purchase. / More updates to the end of the post) My story.. After reading so many reviews on various websites and considering all my options on various models of spin bikes, I made the following purchases (comments along my purchases for the reasons why I made that selection): Bike This great Sunny Health & Fitness Magnetic Belt Drive Indoor Cycling Bike with 300 lb User Weight Limit, 44 lb Flywheel, Cage Pedals and Tablet Holder - SF-B1805 Along reading all the websites, I made an Amazon Wish List, and then used a website called camelcamelcamel that track prices changes on Amazon. The waiting game started!!. This bike went down on Black Friday for 389.99 + tax (24.37) = $414.36. That bike has all that I needed on a spin bike. I was searching for a bike that is from a reputable company, comfortable seat, that have Magnetic Belt (very reliable-low maintenance), that is sturdy (Weight Limit 300lb), that don’t have any electronic that will be outdated soon, that have a heavy flywheel >40 pounds, and if possible to have either table holder or SPD/Cage Pedals. That bike had everything I wanted except the pedals. If you find that bike with any price on the low $400 buy it. Is the best bike for under <500 based on all the reviews and resources that found. Pedals Wellgo E229 Shimano SPD Compatible 9/16" Thread Spin Bike Pedals I picked these pedals based on good reviews. They are dual cage and SPD. The bike comes with cage pedals but everyone said that is better to ride with a clip on shoes. For that reason I want to have my options open. If I want to just ride the bike (Zwift, FulGaZ, Rouvy), I’ll use the cage, if I want to do a spin class (Peloton), I’ll use the SPD side. These pedals come with Shimano SPD compatible cleats and is 9/16” thread, perfect for that bike. I got the pedals for 49.90 + tax (3.12) = $53.02 Heavy Duty Equipment Mat & Heart Monitor Supermats Heavy Duty Equipment Mat 13GS Made in U.S.A. for Indoor Cycles Recumbent Bikes Upright Exercise Bikes and Steppers (2.5 Feet x 5 Feet) (30-Inch x 60-Inch) (76.2 cm x 152.4 cm) CooSpo Fitness Tracker Ant+ Heart Rate Monitor Chest Strap IP67 Waterproof with Bluetooth for Wahoo Strava Zwift DDP Yoga Map My Ride Peloton Bike It goes without saying that if you use the bike indoor you need to protect either the carpet or the floor. The Heart Rate monitor have great reviews and it was more reliable that the wahoo monitor that I considered. If you have more money to spend go to a higher Scosche Rhythm monitor that is also a good choice. The Mat was on sale and the monitor was down 20%. Mat + Monitor 42.78 + 2.68 tax = $45.46 Cadence & Speed Sensors Wahoo RPM Cycling Speed and Cadence Sensor, Bluetooth/ANT+ It was on sale and I found a video on YouTube of how to place correctly the speed sensor on this spin bike and use it later on Zwift. It cost me 55.99 + 3.50 tax = $59.49 Shoes Giro Rumble Vr MTB Shoes Mil Spec Olive/Black 44 Solid choice, to be used indoor and outside if needed without a problem. One of the things I liked (beside the price), is that u can walk with the cleats on and be comfortable without a problem walking. They cost me 44.95+Shipping 7.95+tax 2.81 = $55.71 To summarize the prices, it cost me (without any peloton, Zwift, Rouvy, or FulGaz subscriptions): $628.04 Bike $414.36 Pedals $53.02 Heavy Duty Equipment Mat & Heart Monitor $45.46 Cadence & Speed Sensors $59.49 Shoes $55.71 Here is the catch! Everything should be in my doorstep, in couple days. After using for couple days, I’ll post an update. Happy Ride to all Ps. I am doing this to lose weight and finally to feel good for myself. Appreciate in advance all your support and I am here to answer any questions. ***** UPDATE 12/05/2019 Most everything arrived today and started the assembly. Here is my first impressions of all the items: The bike: The box of the sunny bike is EXTREMELY HEAVY - Don't attempt to move it alone. I managed to drag it to my garage and slowly bring everything piece by piece to my office inside my house where my bike will be placed. It took me about 2h to get the bike assembled, the instructions are clear (be aware of how to install the pedals - those are tricky). It is a very well made bike, very sturdy. I'll update more upon my first adjustments and after my first ride. The Pedals & Shoes: I decided to return both the pedals and the Shoes. It seems that the cage pedals that came with the bike along with my regular gym shoes will do the job instead of using special SPD clips and new shoes for no reason. If i became more active in the future and realize that my interest for cycling grows and really want to invest on shoes and special pedals, then maybe I'll make the switch. For now, I want to just get started and do it slowly, with a easy clip-on pedals and regular shoes that don't feel too tight. ps. The shoes are remarkable and well made but if you order, do yourself a favor and order a size up. They do run small. Heavy Duty Equipment Mat: Amazing and very durable. My bike already found a good spot on it. Heart Monitor: Have not arrived yet Cadence & Speed Sensors: They work like a charm. That bring the total of my setup from $628.04 to $519.31 Cant wait for my first ride / will post more soon ***** UPDATE 12/14/2019 Fantastic Results!!!! The heart rate monitor is picked-up by the app and the colored level indicators tell you if you overworking yourself. I managed to stay under the red zone and it showed on the upper left corner of the pelaton digital screen above my cadence number. Since i send back the pedals and the shoes, I ordered instead a nice Under Armour Men's Charged Rogue Running Shoe for $44.99 and it works great with the pedals. Here is what happen, Couple days ago, on my first ride it was all about getting experience. I did a 10' fulgaz coast ride (my trial ready to expire) and a 20' peloton ride. I adjusted my seat and the handlebar several times until i found myself pedaling with comfort. (watched several youtube videos of how to setup your spin bike). Everything went well but I didn't feel it. Today, I did something different. I found out that the resistance on the bike has a + and a -. Turn it all way out and count +10 for every full circle starting with the + sign on the 12noon. When the instructor said, keep your resistance between 20-25 that means that you turn your resistance 2 1/2 times to get to 25. Every full round is +10. Hope that makes sense. So, the cadence and heart rate is shown on the screen and you'll figure out the resistance on your own as I did following my proposed method if you like. I did a 30' beginner/advance ride and i sweat bullets!!! I burned over 500 calories and felt great. My butt is sore for a little but that can be solved if periodically you try to stand a little on your pedals and ride with lower cadence (it worked for me). I am currently 258 pounds and my goal is to get to 180. All your blessings, prayers and hope are welcome. Happy riding ***** FINAL UPDATE 01/18/2020 Everything works as a charm. The bike is AMAZING. There was a time that i heard some noise but i tighten up the screws at the base and the noise is gone. So, be sure to tight up all screws well. The heart monitor is a MUST especially with Peloton. It shows you not to over do it. I start my peloton from 2 times a week down to every other day now. It gets easier as you do it. I did couple beginner riders and now went to advanced beginner. Is an amazing workout. I feel much stronger and did help me along with my diet to lose pounds (still far from my goal but I am confident that will get there). My last word is, get a bike, put it in a visible area in your way to remind you that you need to ride it, get a heart monitor and sign up for peloton. It will change your life. God bless you and good luck

Sturdy, well designed, and smooth
I LOVE my Sunny bike! I generally speaking despise exercise bikes since many of them are poorly designed, squeak, wobble, or otherwise feel a bit on the rickety side. Not this bike. Solid as can be. Quiet and smooth. It was extremely easy to assemble - though beware that it is heavy - and is extremely fun to ride. Well, as fun as anything you use to exercise can be, anyway. A few people told me to go for the more expensive brands, but I chose wisely. This is a really nice machine for the price and I suspect it will last longer than my inclination to exercise on it, though I have happily used it most every day for three months now. I'm not a super motivated biker, but I have stepped up the resistance on the bike and it is smooth and really makes you work. The seat was pretty comfortable as stationary bike seats go, but I did replace it with one a bit wider since I'm a good sized person. I remain impressed with the bike and will say that you can't really go wrong with this Sunny.

Quality Build, Easy Assembly & Hello Peloton Experience
Update: I wanted to add that the Peloton App only works with Apple. And, the price went up since I bought this. I paid $600. At the new price, I don't know that I would have gotten this one. Just sayin... Original: I purchased this bike after spending a lot of time researching. I knew I wanted a magnetic wheel with belt drive. I watched a guy, tailhappytv on You Tube and he reviews a lot of spin bikes (from his kitchen, kind of funny and helpful). What I liked about this from his review and now as I use it, is the easy installation, the silent spin, the incredibly solid build and actually, the lack of tech. I wanted to create a peloton experience but also have the ability to use whatever app I want to ride to. I also didn't want the problems of tech that breaks. Some of the bikes have heart rate monitors but they aren't accurate. Another plus with this bike is it only takes a few turns to get more resistance. That may not not seem like a big deal, but it helps when you're riding and want to add and subtract resistance. To create my Peloton experience I have their app (which is awesome with all kinds of classes). I use it on a big tv via my Roku. I added the Wahoo cadence sensor. They shout out cadence a lot and you'll get to know where you should be based on your bike. As a side note, I read that many of the riders on the Peloton leader board, don't follow the instructors #'s, they spin like crazy to be on the top. So, do your best and follow them if you like. It's easy to figure out with practice where you should be along with the instructor. Yes, you won't have power output or speed/distance, but you have the spin of your wheel and your heart rate to guide you. Since I use a tv, I can't have my cadence displayed there. I use their app on my iphone and look and my heart rate on my watch from time to time. Apple doesn't play well with others and won't let Wahoo grab that number. I am going to try an app called HeartCast that is supposed to use your A watch and cast to Wahool. We'll see, but in the meantime, I take a second and look. Easy. I think the Schwin IC4 is awesome build and bike and I would trust their tech. But it's $900 plus tax and more than I wanted to spend. A have friends with Peloton and they love them. Either is a great choice. BUT, I'm super happy with mine. In the future I'll add spin shoes and pedals but for now, I'm just happy to be moving. I recommend this bike for a quality mid range bike with no tech to break. Side note: it's heavy and I needed help to get it upstairs, or even in the door for that matter. The box arrived crushed in with some of the styrofoam cracked. I took video of unboxing in case it was broken. NOPE...solid bike survived the rough handling. Happy Health!

Nightmare Bike- Not Worth The Risk
TLDR: If you buy it and you have a problem soon after purchase, send it back immediately- do not attempt to fix it yourself. If I could give a negative star review, I would. This bike has been nothing but a burden for months. With the pandemic lockdowns happening, we were unable to buy an exercise bike in person. So many people had great experiences with ordering an exercise bike online, that my husband and I thought that it would be no problem. We were so very wrong. This is lengthy, but here is our journey: The first time this bike was delivered, it was damaged. No biggie; it was not the manufacturer's fault. The bike was picked up, and a new one was delivered in its place. We assembled the bike carefully and all appeared well. About 5 rides in, a rubbing vibration started, which turned into a loud squeak. We submitted a customer service notice with the manufacturer outlining the problem and a short video with audio. About a two week's later, we received a reply with a brief explanation that the bearings must have been damaged in transit and that it is a very common issue. We had two choices, either return the bike or have the parts shipped to us. My husband and I are not afraid to fix things and have a modest assortment of basic tools. It was painted as a cut and dry fix so we opted to have the parts shipped to us with any other specialty tool that it might need. The bearings came with a 24mm crank puller nearly a month later. We watched the videos that demonstrated how to replace the bearings on similar Sunny bikes and pretty simple tools were used with very minimal force. My husband disassembled the bike, but progress was halted when he came across a huge nut. We didn't have a 1/2 in drive x 1 1/16 in deep socket, so we ordered one. The socket came, but the nut was on their really tight and our socket wrench handle length was not cutting it- we borrowed a big socket wrench with a long handle. We tried to get it off together with the extra leverage. This nut is SEIZED on the bolt. There is no getting it off without breaking something. The small bolts on the wheel are even seized. My husband accidentally stripped one of them, so there is no getting it off now without ulterior methods. This bike is not meant for customers to fix. Maybe if you have a mechanic's shop and pneumatic tools, you could do it. We spent $600 on a bike that was supposed to be an investment for our health. It was the worst purchase we have ever made. We regret ever buying this. We should have sent it back a second time and cut ties there. We still have a disassembled bike in our living room. We are so worn out trying to make it work that we have given up on it as of today. I will be making another customer service notice in hopes that something can be salvaged from this. Do not buy this bike, it is not worth the risk. If you do buy it and there is a problem soon after purchase, send it back- do not fix it yourself.
