Works well and open design allows for easy ventilation
Needed a 50 Ohm high wattage pot for an experiment. This fit the bill. The open design allowed me to easily add fan cooling to help it handle the heat. Be sure as the resistance goes down the current does not go up too much, you could burn out the windings.

Great value, solid build.
Great for load testing 70V amplifiers. Doesn't seem to get too hot either after several minutes at an amps max load. Solid construction.
