Childhood dream fulfilled
As a kid whenever I used to visit local fairs or to temples with family I used to long for petty things like mouth organ, gun, remote control cars, binoculars, etc. I am a full grown man now and in midlife i am satisfying my wishes one by one. It gives me great pleasure to have all these now and thru amazon. This binocular is top class in build. A very simple static device but has a lot to offer. The best thing is I could afford now a costly one lije the Olympus instead of the one available on flea market. This purchase was also meant for my upcoming trip to Kashmir. My initial target was the best seller Comet and then something told me to buy this one at 3 times cost. Did not regret even a bit. Sometimes I get pain by holding the binoculars for a long time, but the views are totally worth. This is the only binocular with most positive reviews and I could see better images on the binocular than thru my own eyes. The images are colorful and has a lot of depth more like 3D. The regular pigeon on the roof top looked colorful. Coming to night time viewing, there is no night vision but the cityscape looked amazing. I could not believe my own eyes. Buildings and neon hoardings 2 km away were crystal clear. Moving on to the night sky, I could see feeble stars brightly and the invisible stars light up as magic. I could see the surface of the moon and could relate to it as an object with light from the sun with its own scars and craters. Loved the views. These are very simple pleasures and fade in comparison to 5k spent on pubbing and party. Made it a point to share the happiness with my friends and colleagues by sharing the binocular with them to show them what I saw. Quality is top notch. Best investment for a lifetime. Yes the strap is thin and Olympus could have done better by having it more wider like what we get on DSLRs. Nevertheless, I am fine with it and not going to reduce the stars for thus one defect. Can be screwed in to a tripod with the help of an adaptor to get still images. My hands shaked a bit on the first day, but learnt to steady my hand and problem solved. Did not get any head ache or eye strain but could be different for others. When the package was received at home, people who said why I spent big cash on this, realised the real worth after one peep thru the binoculars. Yes agree this review is more of the purchase experience rather than a pure technical review, but hope this inspires someone to buy a binocular. You will cherish for life. Peace and love to all.

Just Copied the review of Mr. Murli K...... Based on my Star Gazing experience with it
I purchased this for Start gazing and this is my first puchase made towards this interest of mine. I would say it is good to start with Binocular, so that i will give you fair idea of what you are getting in to. Product as such is of good quality, nice finish, comfortable to handle, not too heavy but little when you use it for a long time. Images are clear but farthest objects are shakky and i guess it is expected out of it.I mostly used it at night sky, happy with the view of moon (craters view not bad but dont expect a clear one). Planets are not identifiable, if you use sky map or related app and by the size & color of planet you could spot the planet/star. You can spot Mars by the color of it, focusing it will give you a blurry ~3mm image. Jupiter by the size of it and no colors visible, just a bright image of it. Galaxies are not visible from Chennai sky but from remote place, you can get a view of it.This is a good product helped me to get started and am looking for a telescope to get a better view of planets.
