Very roomy and sturdy, high volume and weight capacity- great bag!
I walk and bike for my main form of transportation. I use a backpack to carry things like library books and my groceries home. I love this bag because it is roomy to begin with, but with it fully expanded it has a massive capacity. I can carry home a watermelon, gallon of milk and multiple meals worth of foods and snacks and there is still room for my work laptop and all the regular purse stuff. When it is not expanded it is still quite big, but doesn't look or feel massive when you are wearing it. It feels sturdy. The shoulder straps are secure and don't feel like they're at risk when carrying heavy loads. I carry probably at least 50+ pounds in mine sometimes. The clips at the side help to secure the load inside the bag too. There is a chest strap that I can see would help keep heavy loads on your body, but I never remember to use it.

Not a great option for hunters, better for hikers or paintballers
I bought this pack in the OCP/multicam pattern with the intention of using it during deer season for still-hunting.Pros: It is sturdy. The bag is made of a thick canvas material, it has stout zippers, and padded shoulder straps. The compartments open all the way; the zippers almost reach the bottom of the pack. The main compartment is expandable, so if you intend to use it for carrying clothes, you can easily fit a few extra outfits and cold weather gear, which can be strapped down using the two interior tie-down straps. If you intend to use it for camping or day-hiking, this is a good option. I was impressed to see that the largest compartment had lock-loops on its zippers. If you wanted to add a travel lock to keep honest folks out, you have that option - of course, real thieves know how to defeat a zipper. In addition, that same zipper is covered by a flap of canvas, to ward off rain getting in. The shoulder straps also have several sections for you to add D-rings for attaching odds-and-ends. The velcro strip at the bottom is a nice touch for adding a name-tape to your pack.Cons: The reasons why this is not good as a hunting pack are: everything about it is loud, and the pockets are not very practical. The canvas makes noise when anything touches it; it is not softshell at all - so expect every leaf dragged across it to make a scratching sound. The zippers are also loud - just moving about causes them to jingle and make noise. To combat this, i removed all the metal pulls and kept only the rope pulls; this was easy to do since the pot metal they are made from is easy to bend. The zipper is also functionally very loud, but this can be fixed by rubbing beezwax on them - which has an added benefit of waterproofing them. There are three pockets, the main, middle, and the outer. The main and outer both have a rubberized liner within them to keep the contents dry, however, the middle does not have this liner, so there is a higher chance of rain or other wet conditions seeping in through the middle compartment and reaching the contents of both the main and inner compartments. This can probably be fixed using some waterproofing spray for a tent, but is a major design flaw. Also, the middle and outer zippers are exposed to the elements, and not covered by a flap like the main compartment's zipper is. The outer compartment only has one small pocket inside that is zippered, which is just a small part of a larger pocket in the outer compartment. The middle compartment has a net, which can hold an ipad or maps. The rest of the space in the interior compartments is just open, which will lend anything put within them to slide around and move about, removing any kind of organization you had. Anyone who does any hunting knows that their pack needs lots of separated, fastening compartments for all types of gear. Getting smaller pouches will help with organization, but will add weight. There is no interior compartment for a water bladder, so you will need to find a way to secure your water. If you find a way to secure an added bladder, there is no opening for the tube, and of course if you add a hole, that's another way for rain to get in. There is molle webbing on the left side of the pack, but not on the right - So if you intend to add more pouches, expect it to cause an off-balance load if you add too much gear. There is also webbing toward the bottom of the smallest zippered section, but not much of it, so maybe a first aid kit or an ammo holder can go there. There are no straps or bungies for securing a sleeping bag to the pack.I didn't expect a perfect bag for $30, but this is going to take a lot of modification to meet my expectations. My advice: if you are looking for a deer hunting pack, bite the bullet and get a $60+ pack. They are purpose-designed for that. This pack is made for general outdoors use; probably a good choice for hikers, airsofters or paint-ballers, and suburban campers. I bought this to replace an aging LAPoliceGear 3-day pack; it has potential, but the positives and negatives just balance out. Double your budget and get what you know you need the first time around.

Great Backpack Within Certain Uses
I lived out of this backpack for several months. It is deceptively large when expanded, and I could fit a few changes of clothes including light winter wear, a sleeping bag, sleeping pad, cooking pot, and a few other things. With that it was completely packed full and sometimes annoying to take things out or change clothes. When fully packed the sides curve out and the attached straps offer very little space and theres no chance of strapping a tent or anything more than like a coat to the side, so I had to rig up a set up with straps that I bought and it was a pain to carry. The waist straps also did not work for me, could not tighten nearly enough. It is also durable and withstood a fair amount of being tossed around.IN SHORT:It is a great backpack for any kind of short or casual trip, comfortable to carry as long as its not crazy heavy, lots of space, low profile. But definitely not a serious camping backpack because you will not be able to fit all your gear, clothes, and food.

Great quality with an open main compartment!
At opening the package, it is a great quality backpack for just $32’s. Just what I was looking for in the way of an open main pocket and it is spacious when expanded. Want to use it for camping. Many other backpacks have all those separators in the main compartment for students or office workers. I didn’t want those. Bought it with a belt. However, I can’t help you on the comfort level for backpacking yet as I just got it. Also, the backpack is a great taupe color. Not a light tan or beige. Molle design gives me even more options. I will be recommending this backpack to my friends. If you’re considering this backpack for the same reasons as me I’d say just buy it!

My son bought this backpack for school and he just used it to carry his textbooks. Now after two weeks, it's already ripped off .

When expanded its huge, great quality
Great backpack better then I hoped, the expansion on the backpack is a huge pulse, it’s way bigger then you think when expanded,, high quality great materials, inside bottom is waterproof so when sitting on wet surfaces insides won’t get wet. Highly recommend

Very functional, horrible smell for 3 weeks.
I should give this 3 stars, it smelled horribly like moth balls for weeks. I left it outside to air out. Now it's a rather functional, large, but minimalistic pack. Poor for organization, but otherwise great as a semi wet weather motorcycle or travel pack.
