Silicone Smart Ring Case for Gen 2 - Ultra-Thin Transparent Elastic Protector (Size L for 12/13/14)

This is not at all what the item looks like in real life. It’s bulky, plastic looking and tears easily. It looks tacky and takes away from the overall aesthetic. I put my cover on the ring and it snapped immediately. I even started with the size that should have been too big.

This ring is wonderful! It’s stylish and provides helpful medical information. Now how cool is that? I love it!

Makes the ring extra thick and look cheap. Opted to wear the ring without the protector.

Easy to tear, hard to apply, and overall only a mediocre product. Got it for free with the ring order, but definitely not worth paying for. The clarity is meh, the overall fit on the ring leaves a bit to be desired. Went through all three already, and it's been about 1 month. First one tore while I was drying my hands. Second one just destroyed itself while I was trying to put it on the ring.... As for people saying it adds too much bulk, I'll have to disagree with that one sentiment as it's actually not a terrible thickness added.

Do not recommend! It does not fit well on the ring. Super hard to get on and off & looks cloudy once on.

Great protection for when working on machinery.

While I believe the protector accomplishes the goal of the manufacture to protect the ring from minor scratches, the protector has its limitations. The most obvious is that when installed on the ring, given the surface of the protector there is friction between the protector and adjacent fingers. This not only can irritate the adjacent finger, but more importantly permit motion to cause the ring to rotate out of position (e.g. sensors no longer function properly). It is also clear that stretching the protector over the ring causes the protector to become cloudy. But there is no way to install it without this behavior where as others have cited it makes the ring look poor. While I have not tested it, and to be blunt the manufacture cites this point, the protector is not suitable to protect the ring when lifting heavy objects (e.g. weight lifting, working with tools and so on). The manufacture suggests removing the ring during these activities instead of relying on the protector to protect the ring in these instances. To enable to protector to stay in place on the ring there is a lip on both sides of the protector. This lip rubs on the skin of adjacent fingers, causing irritation in my experience. While I am writing my review I took the ring off to give my skin a rest. While it remains to be seen if I keep the protector on the ring, my guess is that it will need to come off...

Do not buy it. It is hard to get on, hard to get off, and it never really sits right on the ring. It has a cloudy white pigment to it which really discolor the way your ring color looks and It feels like cheap plastic that would not protect you ring. I have the matte black ring and it made it look nasty and I couldn’t stand it.

Me decepcionó, pensar que era la funda original supuse que tendría mejor calidad pero tiene varios puntos en contra: la muesca que debe quedar justo en la parte inferior del anillo para guiarte al ponértelo se mueve con el uso diario (pese a ser la talla correcta) por lo q puede ser que el anillo no esté en la posición adecuada, en segunda ha empezado a romperse con el uso normal. La única ventaja que le veo es q puedes cargar el anillo en la caja de carga sin quitar la funda
