Stop looking this is the Pet Gate you Want.
The media could not be loaded. I did extensive research on screen doggy doors. I had one for years it lasted until my screen gave out (note if you can, re-screen your sliding glass screen door (or even one of your windows for your kitties that need to come in and out ) with “pet screen” makes all the difference not only with the durability but installation and it will last for years and years and years! As with anything else, this product has evolved over the years and I am very secure in getting this review and I don’t give money trust me I don’t have time to do this but this is important because it’s pet related and it’s the most friendliest most trainable most durable was easiest to install just go on YouTube search for this and Will give you step-by-step’s oh and by the way I installed mine without removing my screen door! I love the fact that this product is not only adorable (usually I want “clean lines” as in do I need a dog print on my screen door? BUT this design gives enough plastic but yet enough screen area that they can see through push their snout/ nose against it and walk through without ripping it it’s a great design it has screws nuts and bolts that strongly secure the door from the outside and the inside you don’t need any glue and it has a magnet at the bottom and a locking mechanism. I chose (as per my pictures) to place mine at the far right against the frame of the sliding glass door because I have a 9 year old 23 pound miniature dachshund who can be a little sloppy getting through the door so I’m not going to have him “jump up into it” this is the perfect fit and I know so because I’ve had it installed for three weeks now and it’s fabulous I absolutely love it! Perfect time for summer because they want to go go out and then they tap on the glass to come in and then they tap on the glass to go out and then they tap on the glass to come and anyone with dogs understand what I’m talking about and also I have two wonderful cats that use the door as well it took them a little longer to figure it out a week or so with coaxing and treats there are training videos on YouTube as well. Let’s just say this is going to save my summer!Main points: replace what kind of screen you have in your sliding glass screen door with “pet screening” it’s very easy to install (do it yourself you don’t need to hire anybody: it’s screen, spline and the tool to put the spline in and of course scissors to cut the screen it’s definitely simple and ridiculously inexpensive! Quickly educate yourself on how to install it like I said YouTube. The doors comes in two sizes I’ll got the small one I have a 23 pound who runs in and out very easily as well as a 22 pound cat; as I said, read the dimensions and how to measure your pet from shoulder to paw before you order. The large one isn’t that much more expensive it installs the same way. I would recommend that large one for up to 20 inches from shoulder to paw. They crouch when they come in. I hope this helped anyone thinking about doing this because it will save your summer and make your pets so much happier!!!

Perfect for our catio!
This worked out perfectly for our dining room window. We recently set up a catio outside and my husband made a passageway from our window to the catio. We needed some way for the cats to get out the window without taking out our screen and letting bugs in. This was perfect for that. It was easy to install, and it seems to not pull on the screen or damage it (other than the hole to put the door in). I would highly recommend it

Easy to install, doesn’t impact use of door.
The downsides to this door is that you have to cut a hole in your screen door, but our cat has been clawing at it anyways. And I wish the cat paw window would have come in white instead of back. The good - it doesn’t impact the use of your door. It’s easy to install. They even give you a few extra screws incase you drop use lose yours and it takes a few days for a cat to learn to use it.

I love this little door
I purchased this to put in my screen door for my dog to go in and out during the nice weather and I couldn't be happier with it.I installed a different style door prior to this, which was bigger, but much cheaper and didn't work (it was the kind that had plastic posts you popped through the screen into the holes on the frame on the other side of the screen - stay away from that style!). I was worried how I would be able to use this door since the dimensions were much smaller, but I was able to fix it with a screen repair kit and now it works really well, even though there is a lot of the screen repair adhesive around the entire outside border of the door.I have a small dog (about ten pounds) and the small door works perfectly. The size (8.25x10.5) is great for him to easily go in and out with plenty of extra room. I love the magnetic bottom because it keeps the door closed after only two swings or so, but it's not so strong that it's hard for my dog to push. There have been a few times when a really strong wind has blown it open a little, but that's not been a big problem. As for the lock feature, I don't use it since I just close my sliding glass door, but I did test it out and it does keep the door closed, although I had a hard time grabbing the little slides in order to lock them into place. It took me quite some time to install it because it was hard for me to keep the swinging door part on the inside frame while trying to get the back frame on the other side of the screen. I imagine it would have been much easier if I was able to remove the screen door and lay it down or if I had another set of hands. It worked out in the end, but it was time-consuming and more difficult doing it on the door by myself. The screws are very tiny, but hold the screen in place securely.Even with the struggles I had with installation, it is a really sturdy door that works out really well. It was a great investment and I'm really happy with it.
