Very reliable but way too much fun.
I've used this on a number of projects and it's been very nice for all of them. I learned through trial and error that any object or material that looks different when wet will need to be sealed in some way to keep the resin from soaking it. It mixes perfectly whether measured by volume or weight. I was able to determine that at my normal household temp of around 70 to 73 degrees Fahrenhite, I got 20 minutes of working time before I started getting "flow marks" in the surface. Also, a hair drier easily knocks out bubbles. I've even brushed it up the interior sides of trays after I floated the bottoms with resin. I might have just a little too much fun with it. Whatever amount you think you need, get the next size up because you will find other things it works well for. Also, in the event that you aren't sure how much to use on a project, consider mixing just a little extra for safety and preparing a small supplementary project to fill with resin so you have somewhere to use the excess so it's not wasted. I like to make fridge magnets with candy molds or muffin tins and found objects.

Love it!
I am making a coffee table out of some old, very funky salvaged timbers. I want to maintain some of the rough funk factor, but do not want to leave major gaps or splinters/splits. So I ordered this bar top resin to fill those areas. The product works great! I am creating dams to contain the pours in the splits and on the broken edges, using the green Frog masking tape. This expedient works perfectly, and the tape peels away readily. The resin is very easy to mix. If you are at all careful, it is very easy to stir the resin and the catalyst together without incorporating bubbles. The mixed liquid can be poured very precisely into very small cracks, or you can just flood an area. It is easily self-leveling, and crystal clear. I give it 24 hours to set up (in a somewhat cool basement work area). I use a hand plane to level the resin (deliberately over-poured) back to the surface of the wood. At this early time in the cure, the plane cuts clean, easy shavings off the resin; I don't know how this would do some days from now, when the resin is REALLY hard. Best of all: this resin has almost no odor. Very pleased with the product. Best to order a little too much than a little too little.

Great finish coat for fishing lures
I use this as a finish coat for large (12") fishing plugs. I've tried different types of Epoxy for this purpose over the years and most of them fail in one way or the other. This 2 part Epoxy has worked very well. It is self leveling and spreads well. It gives a hard yet flexable finish that has held up very well so far. I just finished coating 2 lures this morning and looking forward to putting them to work this weekend.

Great for parts casting
Good stuff! This sets up extremely hard and fairly quick. I used it for a number of castings and it worked every time.
