Great phone for the money
I bought this phone for use as my work number and I am very impressed. The battery life is excellent and the screen is generally what you would expect for a phone in this price range. The camera is actually surprisingly good for a phone in this price range.I sometimes find the UI is a little laggy, especially just after startup, but this is of no great cause for concern. Generally the responsiveness is good. The phone is well made, although I suspect the screen would scratch easily and therefore I have a cover installed.Dual SIM is a very nice feature, something which you don't get on many higher priced phones. You can also expand the storage via SD card.If you're looking for a cheap Android phone then I would highly recommend the Honor 7S.

Good value for money, but ease of use & support poor
On the whole, great value for money, but with a tedious lack of basic instructions in manual AND online too! Sadly, the touch screen keyboard renders email & texting both difficult & trying. Totally unsuitable for anything more than just a few basic words. This shortcoming also makes accessing sites with long addresses & mandatory long passwords re access difficult & time consuming too! Fortunately EE offer 1000 mins. of calls in their package I have, which means I can call people extremely cheaply instead of texting or emailing. Dealing with my BT emails will be mainly left to my laptop, as BT refuse to provide a link on their MyBt & email Apps, from my account to the email service. Very odd, as this facility is provided by them on the laptop & PC MyBt offering. If you can live with these sad shortcomings, then the Honor 7S is very good value. The basic 7S deserves better support & touchscreen improvements, as it is a joy otherwise! Since writing the original of this review, I have solved to a degree a way of avoiding the shortcomings of the touchscreen keyboard; "ask google"! This allows both voice controlled dictation of short worded text messages & voice controlled Searches. The latter, of course, means one can use search to bring up links to "click on" to get to a required site instead of typing in its address. So, problems somewhat overcome & one can live with the shortcomings of the Honor 7S as it is such a good performer in general and at such great value for money.

Perfect phone especially at the price!
Absolutely love this phone! I never have my phone out of my hand, and one of the features I love the most is battery life! Constant use and very little charging required, the fast charge is impressive too when I do charge. Good clear , bright screen. Very user friendly. Fantastic camera . Really can't find fault! For the price , it knock a few 'big names' out of the park!

Perfect phone for the price
Really happy with this phone. Does everything I need it to. To be honest all I use it for is texting, messenger and whatsapp but it's really fast with these. Happy with the quality of photos - I'm sure there are better cameras on the market but for holiday snaps & nights out it is perfectly fine. Easy to set up and use. It has the same features as Samsung phones at a far lower price. It looks classy and a lot more expensive than it is. Highly recommend this phone if you aren't bothered about paying for a name.

Great budget phone - repeat BUDGET phone
I bought this for my daughter to replace a Huawai P8 Lite 2017, the P8 was amazing for the money, the Honor is very, very good, however, in this age of finger print unlock and dual lenses it feels a bit behind the times and a backward step, which is a little unfair of me, after all this phone is CHEAP.On the positives, big screen which to a teenager is a 'bonus', resolution is apparently 'great', all her favourite apps work, she misses finger unlock, doesn't use the camera that much, but it's 'fine'. Cases are easy to find and it looks 'fine'. What more could you want for the price - repeat the positives. Big Screen 'Bonus & Great' Camera 'Fine', Apps 'Work'.

Maybe a 1 off
I have owned 3 Huawei and Honour phones over the years, all outstanding phones and great value...you get a lot for your money my latest a P20 is simply outstandingSo when my wife was in need of a new phone i settled on the 7S, from the start we have issues, Camera needs to be forced closed to make it work, this needs to be done frequently, the incoming calls and answer phone messages are almost incoherant, and the most strange of all, the phone sat on the kitchen table no where near anyone will just randomly call someone in the contacts list, to the point we need to turn phone off, no one believes me when i say this but its trueThis phone has many positive reviews and this may just be a one off.. a properly working 7S at this price would be great value just looks like we had a bad one

Great little phone
That's a great value phone. This phone is also receiving updates regularly with Android security patches.Pictures are not that great but very usable.I wish it came with less preinstalled stuff inside (some are facebook, swiftkey, some random games etc)Battery on standby after removing / disabling a bunch of apps is fantastic. Can last easily for 4 days on standby which makes it perfect for a secondary phone!
