PLAYMOBIL® 6914 Remote Control

We have been using it for weeks. It works great with PLAYMOBIL Truck 6437.

Works perfectly with the PLAYMOBIL tour bus. It was a hit at our house!

I bought two of these. One was paired with the black "motorcycle van" that came with the dirt bike and ATV action "advent calendar" that i bought my boys. The other one was installed into the playmobil fire truck I bought them for Xmas (2020). They work great, install relatively easily, and are high quality. No complaints about the product in those departments. The problem, is that kids (at least my boys) are terrible at turning off BOTH the controller and the vehicle when they're done, so you essentially get one play out of a set of 4 AA and 1 9V battery. It would be so easy (and really inexpensive) to just use a small rechargeable battery in each unit that is charged by some form of USB cable. I don't need (or want) "hours" of play on a single charge, just a 30-60 minutes, so a small rechargeable battery would suffice. As it is, because of safety rules, you have to unscrew the battery doors and replace the batteries, which is not easily or quickly done when your child hands you the toy and asks you to "fix" it.Furthermore, all these devices default (upon power on) to the same frequency, so if one child is driving the firetruck, and another child turns on another controller, they can control the firetruck as well (and vice versa). So, you have to teach your (young) children how to "pair" the second vehicle once turned on or there will be fighting (again... boys). It would be nice if you could pair it and it would remember, but i suppose the benefit is you don't have to worry about which controller goes with which vehicle, etc.So, they're great, my kids love them.. .they're well made and easy to learn how to control. The motors make a little more noise than my wife likes (it is kinda loud), and the batteries heed to be changed a lot. All in all, i'm happy with it, I just need to invest in some rechargeable batteries. Kids will never turn things off....

The product like 2nd hand or refurbishment. For the price, I can accept. However, it product really has problem. After I connect all the wire following the manual, input battery, the RC module work but a beep sound is always on which doesn’t mention in the manual. And everytime I turn off and on the controller and the RC body, it has no response and need to press the “pair up” button.Please, I would rather pay a higher price instead of getting cheap and low quality product.

Could be really fun, but unfortunately most of the time the turning actuator doesn’t not work. Fwd and backwards work pretty consistently. I wish this product worked as it is supposed to.
