Arrived on time and the quality is good. Fits the canon lens perfectly so is a good replacement for the canon equivalent which is much more expensive.

This tripod and lens mount is better than the 1 from canon in my eyes.its very sturdy.I've put it through a lot in the time I've owned 1.great value great item.

It holds the lens in place (so far). It is a simple screw however, so the tightening is a very fine line between enough space to let the lens rotate and the mount opening completely (and the lens falling off). I've had better ones for the same price...

Even though it states this in the description this mount doesn't fit the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens, it's internal diameter is is about 2.5cm short.

Haven't used it yet but it's the right colour and fits OK. See no reason why it shouldn't do the trick. Shame on Canon for their outrageous pricing for something so simple. Super fast delivery.

I really have nothing to complain about for this price. Build quality is not as good as the OEM Canon collar but it's definitely not that bad and fully usable - and at a VERY small fraction of what Canon charges (if you can even find one from Canon - which I cannot). Also - I'm not sure if others are installing it backwards or what - but if you install it with the 'groove' over the raised bolt heads at the base of the lens (which is really the only logical way you CAN install it), then it functions 100% fine. I can rotate the collar 360 degrees - this is on my Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS mk II lens. I should also point out that it's actually EASIER (and faster) to put on and take off than the OEM version because of the hinge. Canon's does not have a hinge and must be slid off the back of the lens (meaning the lens cannot be on a camera).
