Sword Art Online 14: Alicization Uniting

Best Sword Art Online Volume
The 6th entry in the Underworld Saga was a rollercoaster ride of emotions. It brought us to the climax of the entire arc thus far bringing together our protagonists and the girl of their dreams face to face with the face of the antagonists thus far, but not of the arc, the dreaded Stress Test and the foes of the Dark Territory. I enjoyed having Kirito and his friend and partner Eugeo along with Alice Synthesis 30 as they faced the Pontifex and her pawn. It was intense, flashy, and incredibly and left me floored on the the edge of my seat. The conclusion of which left me emotionally destroyed and wrecked and I dare not describe what happens, just, well, the next volume must be read emotionally. This is definitely one of the most incredibly volumes of Sword Art Online yet.

One massive, exceptional boss battle, and an ending that both feels final and like a beginning.
This, on its own, would be a truly exceptional ending to the Alicization arc. We know it isn't, but it would have worked. The entire book takes place in pretty much one room, and covers the whole boss battle. It is pretty much one big battle, cover to cover. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because, though I liked the thought of the whole book being the final battle, it did get a bit tedious here and there and required some effort to get through. But each and every scene was well written and came together wonderfully, so I still think it was a great read.I will say this. I read another review complaining that this book turned the reviewer off from the series because once again Kirito used the power of friendship and love to Deus-Ex Machina his way through a battle he should not have beat. My response to that is, "Well YEAH!" Honestly, who came here to read about Kirito failing and dying and nobody wins? Literally his whole story from the moment he logged into Aincrad has been about this, and so are most stories like this. The whole point is that in the end, Love and friendship wins against all odds. That's is what I came here to read, and I was not disappointed.

Don’t hate until you read the series. :)
To those who wonder if you should buy the series or not, just know that the books are truly amazing. Now I am a personal fan of the anime, which seems to get so much hate from a loud group of people, and am looking forward to the completion of the third season. The anime is what got me to read the books, and I am truly happy to have done so. The story has more, the descriptions are great, and the images throughout are very well drawn. And if you enjoyed the Aincrad Arc, read it SAO progressive, as that story tells the full story of Aincrad from floor 1-74, floor by floor. All in all, I recommend the series, and have yet to finish getting all of them, but will soon enough. :p

You're going to need some tissues...
After a long journeys end, we end up finally with the long battle with the administrator! The battle was an epic read! So many times I thought it was over, and then something else ended up happening. It is beautifully written. This book is the most solid entry in the series so far, and this is definitely the volume where we see Eugeo shine. This is Eugeo's volume for sure. This is also the ending of the first half of the alicization arc. The next half is crazy (I've already read ahead), but the ending of this book was surely a shock to me! Bring a tissue box, you're going to need it.

Amazing
Wow, this book was a large boss battle. It took place only in one room. I am shocked it was good with this setting. I never read anything like it. I am shocked how good it was. I thought this would be the end of the arc but it looks like there is more to come. I was so hooked I read it in a day. I can't wait for season 3 now.

My last SAO purchase.
This is it. This is the novel that officially turned me off to the SAO series. The story has the same climax as previous arcs. To me it seems that the author is seriously milking the series at this point. It was so disappointing I didn’t finish the book after the final battle in it(like 10 or so pages) which without any other spoilers, ends with your boy Kirito defeating someone he has no business being able to beat with the power of friendship and god mode. Let’s face it. At this point it has to be assumed that he enters god mode anytime the villain has a 99.99% guaranteed victory. Alicization would’ve been a good story but should’ve gone with a new MC. Maybe. Maybe it still would’ve been garbage. The world will never know. To wrap up, if you’re on the fence about the series after the last volume, save yourself the money. It’s not worth it.

Excelente tomo
Excelente "descenlace" de la batalla en la torre que te deja con ganas de tener en tus manos el siguiente tomo. La traducción es muy buena dejando de lado que omite/americaniza ciertas expresiones.
