New for Dogs - The Original Dog Bath Toy - Makes Bath Time Easy, Just Spread Peanut Butter and Stick (Red)

My puppies used to go crazy when I bathed them. With this toy slathered with peanut butter for them to lick, they hardly notice even when I spray them with water. One suggestion: My puppies are small and I can't bend over without back pain so I must bathe them in the sink. More than half the toy is covered by bath water. Would love to have more surface higher above the suction cup.

My dog absolutely hates getting a bath, but she loves food more than anything. She still hates the bath, but she’ll tolerate it way better with the peanut butter to distract her. (My vet has a similar trick—squirting Cheez Whiz on the floor while giving shots, etc). Anyway, Bath Buddy is genius and a game changer.

So glad I purchased this. As soon as I get her in the tub she stands directly in front of it & licks. She is so mesmerized by the on, she doesn’t react lot the washing. I’ve used it while blow dry her after the bath

My dog really does not like bath time. Before I got this the word "bath" would make him run and hide under the coffee table. When I could get him in the tub he would just stand stiff and shaking. After I got this it didn't magically fix everything right away but after putting peanut butter on it and letting my dog get used to licking off of it a couple times I was able to get him to stand in the tub while licking off of it. He was still a little hesitant when the water came on but The peanut butter is a great distraction because my dog is very food driven. Overall this has really helped with my dogs bath time anxiety. He is able to go into the bathroom by himself and jump in the tub when I get the peanut butter jar out. This has made things so much easier. It is a little hard to get all the peanut butter off but between my dog licking almost completely clean and a little soaking it isn't a big bother.

I used to spread peanut butter on my tub and my dog licked it off faster than it took to give him a bath. Bought the Bath Buddy and used it today for the first time...it not only took him longer to lick the peanut butter off but when I got him out of the tub...he jumped right back in to try and get more off!! He loved it and so did I...he's a big dog and it takes a bit to wash/rinse him off. I even got to towel dry him off enough that he never shook water all over my bathroom when we were done...this is a first also. Would highly recommend this for anyone that gives their dogs a bath! We both love this!! It's durable and the little nooks kept him busy trying to lick it off...he actually tried biting it off the tub and it stayed fast and never tore, very durable!

My dogs are beagles. beagles think they are cats. they HATE showering. but now I can trick them into voluntarily entering the shower, and even though they try to run away when the water touches them, i just put them back in front of the peanut butter and voila!, they.stay.still. no more scratched arms!! no more screaming, and trying to grab a slippery soaped-up dog all trough the house!! I even do the incredibly disgusting task up emptying their anal glands while they licking the peanut butter, and they don't even care!!tip: spread the peanut butter and stick in the freezer 2 days before the bath, when I remember to do this, the peanut butter lasts longer and gives you more time, to clean their ears or even dry them!

Smart idea. This item is quite heavy and it stays put quite nicely. I have not used the suction cup feature though. I use it mostly to keep my husky mix distracted while I brush and strip him, which takes well over 10 minutes during the summer. However my dog was able to snap a piece off withing minutes of working on his brushing. It's still 90% intact and will continue using it paying more attention to whether the pup is still licking or actually chewing.

I just used this for the first time with my dog that isn't a fan of water. I put a thin layer of peanut butter on the entire surface. He licked at it the entire time I bathed him. I struggle keeping him in the tub and he absolutely hates water around his neck, upper shoulder and head. I gave him the easiest and quickest bath I've ever given him tonight. I'm so pleased with this product. Also, it stuck to my tile wall (that's around tub) just fine. Didn't fall off at all while my 80 pound dog licked away at it. Well worth the 20.00.

Quite expensive large rubber pad with sucker on reverse that works best on the kitchen counter top to which it adheres fiercely while I spread my boy's liver paste on it. It adheres not quite so fiercely elsewhere so once it drops from the required surface I just have to hold it while the dog demolishes the liver paste. Deeper grooves surrounding the pad design would provide more of a pooch challenge but on the plus side it's easy to clean after use.

Wow I’m so impressed with this bath buddy, my younger dog absolutely hates having a bath and it’s been such a struggle to bath her which stresses her and me out so I stopped bathing her for a while but then I got this and tried it out with her and there was no struggling or stress at all, it worked like a charm I would highly recommend this item

My dogs love this, having 9ne who is only a puppy and a bit squirmy at bath time I was able to bath her a lot easier with this great distraction. You can use anything your dog likes to eat and smosh it all over it.

Love this product and my dog loves it too . Really good quality. I was sceptical a the beginning but now I can say it's worth the price. My dog hates bath time . Now she just stands and licks a peanut butter from it the whole time and bath time is so easy and fast from now on. Thank you
