Moen8287 Commercial M-Dura Kitchen Faucet 2.2 gpm, Chrome

I had a Moen single lever facet on my utility sink that wasn't of very high quality. Calcium deposits were starting to form around the base and no product I could find would remove them as they got into the metal itself. Then it started to have problems with the lever. A look under the sink showed that I had three holes with the holes for the hot and cold levers 8" apart. The holes were originally covered with the bottom plate of the old singled lever facet. This Moen is of very high quality with solid chrome plating. It works very well, seems built to last, was easy to install and is very attractive. A recommended buy for a utility sink facet if you have the correct sink openings.

Very sturdy well built faucet. Looks good too. Faucet swivels from side to side to cover both sides of our double sink. Only negative for some people might be that it does not have a spray hose with it.

This is a plain, but very high quality kitchen faucet. I'm using it in my rental after becoming frustrated with the quality and performance of fancier, more popular kitchen faucets. My rental has old, corroded plumbing pipes, which clog typical kitchen faucets with their thin, built-in water-supply lines. This unit allows me to attach my own (thicker) water supply lines. The materials and construction are top-notch. I have to wait and see about the performance, but I have very high hopes after the installation yesterday.

I am a maintenance Inspector for a non-profit with 50 + properties that are occupied by adults with disabilities. Kitchens and bathrooms in these properties take a beating! Two or three of the cheap big-box store kitchen faucets a year in some of the "more challenged" properties is not unusual. The Moen 8287 is SOILD, it is easy to install, has a great finish and very durable valves. We have now installed several of these in our "toughest properties" and they are doing very well so far (only 90 days in), but I expect they will really last and are well worth the small additional cost.

The faucet threads are 55/64" - 27 male. If you want to connect a GHTM (Garden Hose Thread - Male) the adapter should match these threads. I put one on to hook a Garden Hose to it. It is also good to serve the faucet with Stainless Steel hoses since the faucet will wobble on a 21 gauge Stainless Steel sink and needs way. This is a beautiful faucet and a creation of fine machinery and craftsmanship. The gooseneck has 2 O-rings.

I bought this based on Amazon reviewer recommendation for the Griffin LT118 sink. I am totally enjoying the new utility sink and faucet. The only change needed was an adaptor to be able to connect with the Python aquarium water changer. The Python Brass adaptor worked perfectly for that.

Good looking kitchen faucet. I had to replace the ole with this unit because we have very hard water here and it damages the taps after a good number of years. It is the way it is.

This is a true high quality faucet. Good weight, all brass components no plastic parts, 90 degree ceramic cartridges. Works very smoothly. Faucet arm is just right size, and directs water directly to the middle of the kitchen sink drain. Commercial grade is much better made and just worth the extra $$.After quite a bit of comparison shopping the Moen M-Dura faucet just stood out as being the best two handle faucet for my home use. After installing six Moen faucets in the past several years, I have had no issues with any of them, and absolutely love the features of each. Other "name" brands have given me trouble in the past. Not Moen.I have under 40 psi rural water pressure, so plumbed this kitchen faucet with PEX directly instead of the typical smaller diameter flexible sink lines. Without aerator, this gave me about 5 gpm per side or about 9 gpm combined flow at under 40 psi. Combined with a 4.75 gpm high flow aerator (JQK from ebay), it works Great - even with low water pressure! There are no internal flow restrictors, or tiny installed lines - as some units have.Cons: I disliked was the hot and cold water "stickers" on the faucet handles. One was installed crooked, which was easily fixed, but they may not last. Faucet handle would look fine without them anyway. I also wish this faucet was available in nickel finish, but I will settle for Chrome to get commercial grade components.Box says that the faucet is assembled in USA, with US and foreign parts. No Chinese junk here! And yes it does matter.Is you are looking for a quality two handle faucet, the Moen M-Dura is the best I have seen. A few extra dollars but well worth it! Just buy it, you won't regret it.
