First, it is a very substantial, heavy duty filter. Most impressive.The instruction that come with the filter say to remove the "glove box side panel trim cover"... STOP Don't do that.Instead, just remove the items from your glove box, then the rubber mat that sits in the bottom of the glove box. Next find the loop located at the top center of the glove box and carefully pull it toward you so it pivots in the center of the glove box. Once it has been removed, use a flashlight to look into the opening and you will see the Cabin Filter holder. I'd watch a couple of YouTube videos to see how to access the Cabin Filter housing, but it really simple. I used a small screwdriver between the Cabin Filter housing and the lid's latch then pulled forward before releasing the side latches.Just like the YouTube videos that I watched, there was no stock Cabin Filter. I wonder if it never had one or the dealerships pull them out so you say the car stinks and they can sell you one for $100.00?I should have done this years ago.

Easy to install

Very well packaged, and the filter arrived without a blemish on it. The instructions on the installation are very easy to follow.Once I removed the old OEM GM filter I could tell the difference in quality, thickness and overall appearance. In factthis filter is by far 100% superior. Even better was the cost for this filter saved me money rather than buying the OEM part and having the dealership install.The filter replacement took about five minutes. Once installed I started my SUV and turned on the AC. I immediately was 100% satisfied. I am smelling fresh non-foul smelling air again.I will not hesitate to purchase from this company again and recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much Spear Head for making such an awesome product.

It was time to replace the old cabin filter in my 2011 Cadillac SRX. Old one was dirty and gross, as expected. Easy to install. I actually made my 19 yr old son do it (teaching lifeskills while I watch.) He only needed a screwdriver. Changed in under 10 minutes.)

Item was delivered by USPS and left out in the rain. I was sent a replacement, even after telling the seller I thought it would be ok after it dried out and wasn’t necessary. My car had belonged to a smoker and just had a stale funky smell when running the ac. The new filter took care of the horrible cigarette smell! I’m impressed! Thanks you again!!

Good quality filter. If you have a Chevy Sonic and you don't know how to replace the cabin filter, i would suggest you to watch tutorial videos online, it's not that obvious, but once you know how to do it, it's easy enough.
