Moved an 8 ft slate pool table
I got these to move my pool table 20 inches in the room. Our table is a plus size 8ft with inch thick slate, almost 1000 pounds. I used a car jack to get these under the feet. I expected to still need a friend to help slide it due to the weight. Heck, if it didn't work I wouldn't have even been upset. I MOVED THIS THING BY MYSELF WITH NO ISSUE AT ALL. crazy effective. I can easily push it with my hip to get a slight adjustment with no help.

These had one major purpose
During a remodel I found the fridge had nubs on the bottom that didn't slide at all. Having replaced the particleboard underlayment with plywood I needed to move the fridge a lot. I am strong but that thing wouldn't budge on the new plywood. It only cut deep grooves. So I bought these hoping to simply pop them under the four corners and away the fridge would sail. Not quite that easy. But I have moved it about five times thus far and other than the occasional one slipping out and needing to be put back in place these have performed quite well. I had no chance of moving that thing before. And now I can do it by myself without a lot of trouble. At least for me these were well worth the price.

Glad I bought 'em.
Really glad I bought these. My whole life, I've avoided buying things like this. It always seemed decadent and wasteful to spend money on things to help me move furniture that I can usually move myself (or with the help of one other person) for free. But I bought them because I had the idea that I might like to use these to replace the wheels on an office chair that's in a room with carpet. Office chair wheels don't really work and play well with carpeting. And I hate those stupid plastic mats people stick under their office chairs. I figured replacing the wheels with furniture sliders would make the chair move around more smoothly.Once they came, I figured I might as well use them to rearrange the living room furniture before they got relegated to being stuck under my office chair.I have to say: they make it so much easier to move furniture. Makes me wish I'd bought some of these things years ago. Would've saved me plenty of time and energy and strain every time I had to move furniture around.A nice side effect from using these sliders is that it revealed that my couch has oddly sharp "feet" on it. I've only ever had that couch on carpet, so I had no idea the thing was so rough on whatever surface it rests upon. But after sticking these things under the feet of the couch, I saw that the foam pads on these sliders all had really bad circular gouges cut into them from the couch. It's good to know that now (as opposed to finding out by ruining wood floors in the future). My only complaint? It's not clear what the weight capacity or limit is with these things. For a product designed to be placed underneath heavy objects and aid in moving those objects, you'd really think there'd be a clear statement on the packaging that explains how much of a load they can bear without losing their "sliding" action (or how much of a load they can bear without flat out breaking).EDIT: double-checked, and found a small slip of paper that indicates the 7-inch sliders can help move up to 3200 pounds. No numbers given for the smaller set that comes in the box, though.
