Magic Makers Deluxe Three Shell Game Set - Classic Magic Trick for All Skill Levels

I don't understand the negative reviews on this unless the buyers had absolutely no idea what they were buying nor any idea about how the trick worked. The shells and peas are perfect and work with very little effort. For anyone who has struggles with this trick before, try this one--it is almost automatic. And for the reviewer who thought the shells were small. WTF? I almost didn't buy this trick because of the negative comments. this trick really is perfect and I'm ordering more so I'll always have a set close by.

This is such a neat game. It does require practice as the trick is all in the slight of hand, so it would take a while for the novice to get used to. But the shells move easily and the peas are rubbery and move just right for the game. We'll worth the price.

The "pea" kept touching the inside top of the shell, made shuffling difficult. l

It's an ok game, however, it's difficult to slide the shells with out showing where the ball is.My grandson (his gift) would get frustrated.

Was not happy with this. It looks bigger then it really is. The shells are no bigger then my thumb and the ball you can hardly find it. To small for my grandchildren to play with or in fact for anyone to play with.

This shell game is of good quality and nicely priced.Like with any magic, practice, practice, practice, is key to a super performance. Practice separates the professional from the amateur. Enjoyable to perform.

From the magicians perspective, this is bottom of the barrel material for the effect. It will work in a pinch or if you just want some basics for practice. The issue lies in the fact that the peas grip whatever pad you’re using and you can’t slide The shell around while the pea is inside of it. in my opinion, this defeats the purpose. This really only works on a hard surface. To that point if you were looking to do this on a hard surface the pea works well, but the shells are made of a hard plastic with shallow ridges that do not make it easy to pick them up, it shouldn’t be a task to pick them up to show there is or isn’t a pea underneath. Again, this is where they shoot themselves in the foot. The pea doesn’t work on cloth pads in the shell hardly works at all. That said if you’re doing it on a hard surface and have moist fingertips you should be fine. Have at it.

Used these for a prop on stage...they were awesome for the Nutcracker :) Also, it was a cool game in the dressing room.
