Salicylic Acid Scrub Soap, Pore Exfoliating, Softening Skin, Anti-Blemish

This is a perfect 10 for body exfoliating beauty bar. It's exactly what I wanted, very unfortunately priced high as it is. Would love to make this a constant in my bathing routine. Downside is the price and the size and performance is only going to last for 5 uses if you are very careful. Lather was great, very smooth, perfectly abrasive. My skin feels so nice!!! And the fragrance I could smell for several hours after use, a very big plus as it smells wonderful. If anyone knows of how to buy this or something of this caliber in bulk, PLEASE let me know!!!

So far so good. I am in my late 30s and as I age I keep getting what is known as "chicken skin" or the medical term keratosis pilaris. It is not a nice look when summer is coming around. I looked at a lot of options and hated the idea of spending a ton of money on products so I figured I would try a simple bar of soap that had good reviews. This has done the trick! It is bumpy and oddly satisfying when washing with it. It has significantly decreased the bumps on my legs and if you are like me reduced the desire to pick at the white head looking bumps. I am hoping with more usage they will be gone before the weather heats up. This is definitely a worth while solution and it doesn't break the bank. I will definitely buy again!

I actually am, admittedly, somewhat negligent to the skin on my face other than the occasional moisturizer application. As a male, who likes looking somewhat put together, I wanted something specifically for my face. I’ve tried scrubs and the occasional exfoliating gel, and I wasn’t ever too wild about any of them. Which, in turn, meant I didn’t buy them again even when I got inspired to do self care. I have the occasional acne flare (likely culprit is stress) and I find it simply repulsive. I needed something to combat that possibility while also just kind of accomplishing everything else those random gels and washes strived to do. I also lately have been on a bar soap kick. It’s less packaging, less shipping weight, smaller form factor for easy storage, and just a touch more eco friendly than the average facial cleanser.Enter this beautifully scented facial bar. Does it exfoliate? Maybe. It has bits and pieces inside it that are likely intended to exfoliate but I can never seem to get my face wet enough to scrub it with this soap before it’s ‘dry’. It doesn’t create a whole lot of suds (but I’m okay with that). It rinses cleanly. It does, somewhat, leave my skin a little dryer than some other products but it’s better than most in that regard. It has completely tamed the occasional acne flare and it smells glorious. I don’t use it every day, but I’m quite fond of it. I would buy it again when it runs out.

I rarely review but I really love this soap for my KP- and acne! Finally reviewing after purchasing my 3rd bar- quick background: I have KP all over my body, often dry, itchy, and painful, I've tried countless products from organic to chemical, from expensive to prescription, nothing has helped. - tried this soap on a whim and was VERY SURPRISED!!! The exfoliating beads feel great on my itchy areas, lathers well, with a silky feeling, but also rinses clean. after showering with this soap only twice, I noticed a significant improvement in my KP, far less inflamed, and huge improvement in the redness. This soap leaves skin smooth, and hydrated feeling, in my opinion- not drying at all. FOR FACE: I tried it on my face despite other reviews, i have combo skin with acne, since using i have NO new cystic blemishes, and use this when i see new breakouts- it's helped clear them up quickly. (I use this one my face once every few days, at night, and moisturize after) the SCENT: is light, and a bit floral, it's not my favorite scent, so the best part- it does NOT linger after rinsing. CONS: 1. This soap is so slippery it's almost comical, it does make the shower floor a bit slippery- don't bust your bum! 2. It is a smaller bar and doesn't last super long (but with skin issues I'd rather have a fresh bar often- then a gross old one for too long). THE PRICE, totally worth it, i will keep buying and recommending this product!

Okay, so I bought this soap because I've been having some weird body skin break out (specifically in the chest/back area). I typically use an unscented, gentle soap of another brand. I don't know if that really matters to anyone, I'm just trying to set the scene of what my skin is like and what it usually likes. It's pretty sensitive, so I tend to steer clear of anything with fragrance (I can tolerate a little, sometimes). This soap is ok, I guess, but I don't know that it's made a huge impact on the purpose I bought it. I liked the idea of the exfoliating beads IN the soap because it was like I could pretend like I was doing two things (cleansing and exfoliating) at the same time, and who doesn't like to save time? However, as I am approaching the end life of the bar, those little beads are popping out with a vengeance. For some reason, they seem larger, harsher and MORE towards the end-life of the soap. I don't even care to use it much anymore because it now feels like I'm scrapping off the top three layers of skin with some medium-grade rough--ish sandpaper. I'm sure some people are here for that, though, so I'm not saying don't buy the soap, I'm saying lower your expectations because your bar is probably too high and get ready to mix pain with the pleasure of your daily shower routine. Hey, whatever. You do you.

This has been my holy grail for KP on my arms. I use it on my face twice a week, as it can be a little drying but really does help to smooth texture.
