Radien Sports Strongman Sandbag

I purchased two bags for what may seem an odd reason. Over summer, I had to carry two large diameter hold-alls around airports - essentially a farmer's walk with a constant partial lateral raise in order to leave space for the legs. The DOMS from this 'exercise', despite the theoretically light loads (20kg per hand), was incredible - I've been training with weights for over 30 years, but no variation of press, raise, or row can cause anything like this soreness. From the company's useful YouTube videos, I saw that these bags, covered with so many gripping options, would be ideal to re-create this torturous modified farmer's walk.The quality of the bags is excellent: very durable material, essentially surrounded in a complex web of car seat-belt material. The closing mechanism is simple and effective (watch the videos to confirm the process), and allows the bag to shrink or expand in line with the loaded contents (no empty spots or looseness). For the moment, I have only filled them with a couple of bags of sand (still in their polythene bags, to facilitate eventual weight changes), but they have performed excellently with this weight (c. 50kg each) for clean and press, front carries, and, of course, the masochistic modified farmer's walk. I'm looking forward to filling them with more sand - and also to taking them with me on my next summer holiday, for impromptu sessions on the beach. Fantastic!

Have been using this bag for just over a month now with around 70kg of sand inside (at the medium size of the item) and have had no issues. It's perfect for unconventional lifting/carrying and even with being dropped repeatedly I haven't seen a single grain of sand escape yet. The bag feels like it will last a lifetime.

Was looking for a while to find a reasonably priced bag that was versatile and provided options to change the weight without having to buy more bags. This was a great find, highly durable and very well made with loads of options to change the weight, use the straps or even turn the bag inside out if you don't like the straps on the outside. I filled with 3 x 20kg sandbags inside their own plastic so i can interchange them when needed. Really easy to open and close. Highly Recommend if your looking for a versatile sandbag thats going to last the distance.

This is one of the best Sandbag on the market right now.Extremely versatile, I've used it as a kettlebell, sandbag, Bulgarian bag.Good for clean, heavy squats,push press, atlas etc.I believe it can keep more than 100 kg of sand.Totally recommended

Been throwing this bag around for a month now and it is probably the most versatile training tool I've found. I take it to the beach, change the fill levels depending on whether I'm working on power, strength or endurance.Straps are a bit fiddly and let it down a tad but not enough to interfere with its overall quality.Totally satisfied.

The bag is strong and durable. I've had no leaking sand and the product is well designed. I prefer this kind of bag to one with big handles all over it. This bag is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend it. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Great value sandbag. I got this at a reduced price from amazon warehouse. Its great for a variety of exercises as it has straps in various locations around the bag. I just filled different sized rubble sacks for easy adjustment

Got loads of 10kg sand bags from tesco and this bag does the rest.Perfect item for heavy training.
