Q: Will this work on the new bifold gates?

I looked at your pictures. Its not designed for that exact set up.... but it will work and assist with the weight. The I-bolt would attach on the first ramp near what looks like a rubber black bump circle. Its really just a leverage and spring pull device which is pretty simple. They also have chain links that can be removed to adjust the pulling power. Thanks, Kory

I put a RZR 1000 on my trailer, and the gate seems to have no problem with it. The RZR weighs about 900 lbs, I think.

Not sure what you are asking - the gate lift accessory is installed on the side "wall" of the trailer, so the vehicle does not touch it. The trailer and gate would have the weight question and this item doesn't cover that. However, it helps someone (me - 75 yr old female) to lift and lower the heavy gate, but that doesn't concern the weight of the vehicle.
