This is a great kit of a classic aeroplane. out of the box there are a number of options and plenty of detail to keep fans happy. It's size means that it doesn't take up too much space when built. Parts fit is great but beware when assembling the engines because the propeller axles can get contaminated and seize up when using liquid cement.

A brilliant kit

Still to build the kit and will probably be on the shelf until summer is past but it seems to be a well made kit with 2 build options with nice decal sets. Although it is a 1/48 kit it seems to me to be quite small but that is probably just myself being used to making bombers at this scale. It will be a challenge for my dodgy eyesight but i am looking forward to the build.

Good airfix model

I thought I'd never build an Airfix kit again after the poor fits I'd experienced before, however, after years of not building kits, I saw some reviews of their new toolings and thought I'd try one for fun. Wow. They've improved so much. Personally, I did find the frame for the cockpit tedious and frustrating to put together, but I suspect that was more of a skill issue, than kit issue. The level of detail has improved, but without adding 100's of parts and complexity. There was no warping, no major fit issues, panel details were crisp and it looked like a hurricane to me. Airfix are making some excellent kits now.

Nice little kit to past the time away on a rainy weekend. A decent price and ideal for beginners like me. Very little clean up needed.

Excellent model although not yet built

The Airfix 1/48 Bristol Blenheim is an excellent kit of an important early WWII aircraft and the only one in 1/48 scale. Delivery was very rapid but the best part was that as it was raining at the time and I was out. The driver took the time and effort to place the package under cover away from where it would have been soaked on the doorstep. Well done.

Je viens de le recevoir et je ne l'ai pas encore monté mais après comparaison avec d'autres kits du même avion ce kit Airfix semble être le meilleur. Il est plus détaillé: Il y a même des pièces séparées pour représenter les entrées d'air filtrées sur les coté du capot moteur en bas. Il y a aussi un pilote. Il y a 2 types de réservoir supplémentaires et les volets et les gouvernes sont séparés La notice de montage est bien faite et en couleur et les décalcs sont bien nets. Seule la gravure des tôles du fuselage est un peu trop marquée à mon gout .
