This is probably the best styling cream I've ever used, weighing all factors. It provides a light, natural hold and moisturizes too. The scent is a little unusual, but not bad or noxious like practically every other styling cream I've tried -- it stays with you about an hour after application, then fades...that's better than other creams I've tried that are so noxious. So, since it works well, softens the hair, and the smell is pretty good and not overbearing, this is a winner.

I have thick hair, about shoulder length, and the product seems to have a light hold and a little shine, its also good for controlling frizz. For me, it's perfect for having my hair slicked back. It has a great light scent too. I just think the price is too much for a product like this.

I have tried multiple hair cream products from different brands but nothing beats the Malin + Goetz styling cream. It has a hint of sage smell and holds hair just enough to keep it from frizzing and yet not sticky. It is a great alternative to pomade or hair wax especially for those looking to have a natural looking hair. The hair cream does have a mild hold though, so one tip would be to do a round of hairspray after setting it with the hair cream first, particularly on windy days or before a Friday night out.

A 3 for now. Have not tried it yet, but the sage scent is very strong. Rubbed a little on my hand to see if the scent would fade a bit, but not so far. I’ll try on my hair when I have no place to go and will follow up.

Been using this for years—good hold without adding too much texture or weight. Not sticky at all. Smells amazing but not overpowering. A tube lasts a long time for short hair. I put it on damp and then when it's totally dried, I fluff it up with my fingers.

I have used many brands for styling my hair. None comes close to Malin. No weird smells, great hold and no sticky feeling. This is a fair price for its value.

Is very good, smell nice, does help with frizz. I’m new to hair care, I don’t think it goes well with my curvy hair, since it’s very very difficult to shape the curved, but it was great in general.
