Comfortable
Very light weight but very durable and comfortable. I wear these when I go hiking, they haven’t let me down yet & I’ve been on some very rugged and steep trails.

Nice boot, minimal padding
my naked foot measures exactly 28.4-28.7cm long, took size 11.5, fit is pretty good.nice boots, very comfortable memory foam insole. minimal arch support, which I prefer.roomy toebox, big toe is not constricted.heel ok, could be a little more snug.Arch ok, also a little wide.Cheap laces but they can be replaced.Easy to tighten the laces around the arch of the foot, very secure.one boot weighs 471g.most obvious problem is the talus/tibia part of the foot, the interior of the tongue has no padding, so it is quite rough and jagged feeling against the foot, especially if tightened. it also tends to fold in on itself, creating stiff bumps crushing against the ankles.second obvious problem is the heel, also no real padding, but it has the same suede texture as the outside of the shoe which is smooth enough.otherwise the shoes are very comfortable. lightweight and as durable feeling as most shoes. the rubber sole is pretty thick and dense, with good grip. Good double layer toecap, fair bump protection. definitely wouldn't call these military grade but they're pretty good for casual use.they also make a very obvious crinkling sound as you walk, as do most long shaft canvas boots.if only the tongue had a thin padding added to it, this shoe would be perfect.

Honestly impressed.
For the price, I had very low expectations. After having them for several months and wearing them on many hikes, I'm considering getting another pair. They're very comfortable boots, with a wide toe box (which I LOVE). Too often do my toes feel squished together in boots, but they can stretch and BREATHE in these. The boots themselves are very flexible, allowing good foot and ankle control. The ankle support is enough to offer protection, but not limit range of motion. I've only been on day hikes with these, so I've hardly put them through a torture test, but so far they're holding up perfectly fine with no excessive wear and tear. 10/10 would recommend.

Free Soldier hiking boot review
A very light weight hiking boot, made like an extra high top tennis shoe, kinda reminds me of a converse extra high top. No insulation or anything else extra, good for summer. Like everything else these days, made to pass minimal requirements to make optimal $ , you get what you pay for, pretty good for the price, so far….

These are very light and comfortable boots with a non-slip sole. Let's see how durable it is.

Good for about a month
I was excited to get these boots. They were lightweight and kelp my feet cooler than regular work boots. Unfortunately in less than 2 months they are starting to fall apart. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.
