The TOWTAMER ICY Seat is an incredible upgrade for summer driving comfort. The semiconductor ventilation system keeps the seat cool and refreshing, even on long drives in hot weather. It’s easy to install, fits securely, and starts working right away once plugged in. The cooling effect is strong but comfortable, and it makes a huge difference compared to regular seat covers. For under $90, it’s a worthwhile investment for anyone who spends a lot of time on the road.

I bought this to help cool down on hot days. It works just okay in that regard. If you leave this in your vehicle on hotter days, it'll take basically as long as the AC takes to get cool for this to get cool as well, as the water holds a ton of heat. The bigger issue for me is that the product is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. I drive a Honda Civic, it does not go all the way across the seat, so you wind up sitting on top of the controls. Which can be less than ideal as you may accidentally turn it off or turn the cooling down. Additionally, the fan at the bottom seems like it is meant to tuck under the seat, but it cannot tuck under the seat, as the bottom piece with the fan is not long enough. I assume this may be an issue with other vehicles as well, but as a result, it kinda sticks out forward. Only an issue if you tend to tuck one leg back while driving, but it definitely gets in the way of that. It is fairly comfortable overall, but you can still tell you're sitting on something that isn't really a seat. Haven't noticed any issues with comfort over 45 minutes of driving or so.

I bought this to try and get through hot days. Since my ac in the car is shot, I was looking for a cheaper way to keep cool in the summer. This seat keeps your body quite cool despite 100 degreeweather outside. This is nice for anyone that likes cooling seats. They have different settings but since my ac is out, I just use the max. This has a nice look, easy to install and is comfortable enough. It tends to stay in place and plugged into my car without any issue. Overall, recommend this as it does what it says and is much quieter than the fan models

Super quiet fan. Cools buns and back. Well worth the money. Now if your car has been sitting in the sun for a bit - give it a minute to cool. Super easy to use. I have no issues with it sliding around. I just have it hooked to my head rest and to the back of the drivers seat. As soon as the car starts it is on. I love that I dont have to turn it on. Very comfy as it is not to thick. Sleek design.

I really wanted this cushion to work well. I have a dysautonomic dysfunction disorder that prevents my body from handling temperature changes properly, so I sweat a lot, especially on my back. I needed something to put in my minivan that would help keep me cool when the seat was blistering hot during the summer. I purchased this item in hopes that it would fit the bill. Initially, my first impression was that the aluminum cooling block at the bottom was very large. And it was. When I strapped it down to my minivan seat, the heat sink was so large that it hit the back of my legs and was very uncomfortable. Also, the rigidity of the fluid tubing made it very uncomfortable to sit on. That area is also fairly narrow, and centered itself in my back which was uncomfortable. If the temperature in the car was below about 80° fahrenheit, it would start to feel noticeably cool within about 10 to 15 minutes. But if the interior of the car was any hotter than that, and it always was on a summer day, then it would take well over 30 minutes in order to cool off enough to be felt. So I ended up sweating on it more than I would my seat as I waited for it to cool off. I've had better success with more traditional mesh based backrest cushions that simply keep your back off the seat back to allow for more airflow. Also, the power and setting adjustment button being underneath my right leg was awkward, and there were a few times where I accidentally cut the unit off completely without realizing it. I give it two stars for functionality, and comfort. I chose to go with a more traditional fan based airflow back cushion, and have had much better results.

This might be the best car accessory I’ve bought this year. The cooling car seat cover fits my Subaru STI seat perfectly, and installation was extremely easy. The two sets of elastic straps hold it securely in place. As I expected, the cooling range is somewhat limited, so it's hard to rely solely on this cushion to get through the summer. However, as the seat temperature drops, I’m able to lower the AC fan speed and avoid freezing air blowing directly on my face, while still keeping my whole body comfortably cool. The cooling optimization it brings is far more effective than simply cranking the AC to the max, and its benefits go well beyond what temperature numbers alone can convey.
