First off, before using this for the first time, remove the plastic film that's on the heating plates - I almost missed this. I love this styling iron and I bought the Color WOW Dream Coat supernatural spray to use with the iron. I have heavy, thick, course hair and this iron is so nice to use. It glides through my hair with one pass (heat setting at 410), it's really light weight and is quick to heat up. It also has the capability to either straighten or curl. Love it!

This could be the best flat iron I have ever purchased. I have had nearly every popular flat iron brand over the last 25+ yrs. I have had CHI, FHI, Sedu, Babyliss, Rusk, HSI, and a lot of lesser known brands in between. The main thing I have noticed is that my hair responds best to tourmaline irons, which have been using over the past decade, but they have become increasingly harder to find and more EXPENSIVE. Enter Nition. The last good flat iron I had was a Sedu tourmaline and prior to that Babyliss tourmaline. The Sedu I purchased was used after I tried some generic flat irons which burned and fried my hair. I was struggling to find an iron that my hair would respond to. After some time, the Sedu stopped working and I was back on the hunt. I purchased two other brands from Amazon that were just awful for my hair. I took a stab at purchasing the Nition after reading a number of positive reviews. Admittedly, I didn’t have very high hopes because the price was so affordable (sad, I know). Upon its arrival I was pleasantly surprised. I don’t really get excited about packaging, but wow was I blown away by the presentation. The storage/cooling case and the glove was such a nice touch. It honestly is something that I would expect from a more high-end product. The iron itself is sleek and lightweight with a pretty LED digital temperature control dial at the base. But most of all. The performance is phenomenal. I have fine AA hair that normally does not curl tightly. I can generally get a “bend”, but a full curl is nearly impossible for me. This iron also heats up very fas, so very little wait time. The other thing is my hair is generally pretty shiny on its own, but I have had some irons that have made my hair look dull. This one not only adds shine, but it keeps the frizz away also. Finally, my hair doesn’t feel dried out farted days of daily usage. I honestly love this iron. I look forward to how quickly I can curl my short pixie. It just works so well. I only had one con with my purchase and that was the the temperature control skipped several increments. I could manage to make it work for me, and initially I thought it was a feature, but I read that it might be a design flaw. After three months, I decided I would reach out to customer service about the matter. To be honest, I didn’t really expect to get a response. And since it wasn’t “broken” and I like it so well, I probably would not have been very upset if I did not get a response-but wow. Last Wednesday I emailed customer service about my issue. Within two hours, I got a response back from the after sales rep, Rain. She was so kind and accommodating in her email. She didn’t hesitate to to start working on my replacement immediately, since it was still under warranty. She asked me for some information that I provided quickly and she immediately processed my replacement. I couldn’t believe that Saturday, before 12:00 pm, I had received my replacement. It’s working perfectly. I must say this has to be the best purchasing experience I have ever had. This is the longest review I have ever written, which says a lot because I am usually kinda lazy about reviewing products. I just want everyone to buy this product so that it will always be around! The product is wonderful, but the level of customer service that I received was phenomenal. Well, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. I hope this review helps someone who may be on the fence about purchasing.

Me arriesgué, la compré y no me arrepiento, es la mejor plancha que he usado. Tiene guantes para protegerte, un peine y dos pinzas. Aparte viene bien guardada en una bolsita como de fieltro para que no se maltrate. 10/10
