The outlet is well constructed and provides a solid connection to plug. The wire terminals on the back of the outlet work well. After seeing it installed, I liked the white color even more than I thought I would. The description has an error in it. It says that this outlet fits a single or double gang box. It does not fit in the single box. I upgraded from a 10-30R outlet to this 14-30R outlet. The 10-30R was installed in a single gang box. It was tight but it fit. The new 14-30R outlet was about a quarter inch wider than the box, and about 3/8" wider than the old outlet. I had to change to a double gang box to finish the replacement. Other than that little surprise, the change out went smooth. I would recommend this outlet to anyone who needs one.

The receptacle looks like a well-designed and durable, just like the expensive ones. The only thing lacking is the hex head clamping nuts, But, most of the brands don't have this type of clamping. For the price, I am more than satisfied. I would buy this again when needed.

This was the only receptacle cover that I could find that had the screw hole placement exactly where I needed. This is made of high quality, rigid brushed stainless steel and looks great when installed. The only thing I wish that was different, is that it would have been available in a slightly oversized version (like many other cover plates). This works well and looks good, but it just barely covered the hole in the sheetrock where the box was installed.
