Didn't live up to expectation
Looks like a good quality product when unpacking and easy to assemble but that's where the dream ends. Very unstable to operate - focal adjustment causes movement causing images to disappear from view. The problem is this: imagine (as an analogy) a measuring device that is a metre long which you adjust in tiny increments (by turning the adjuster) to achieve focus. On a scale from 1 to 1000, you are able to hit the correct focus in a tiny spot - maybe 1mm out of 1000mm - it's literally a tiny fraction of a turn which is really difficult to achieve. The result is that it's almost impossible to capture what you want to see. I managed to get a reasonable focus on moon craters but saw little else other than the blood vessels at the back of my eye! Returned to Amazon for a refund

Need some help!!
As usual anything from China has terribly translated and poor instructions but after some time we got it set up. So far the only thing that works is the 20mm lens but the white dot in the sky is still a white dot but with a nice reflection of my eyeball. The whole contraption of fixing the scope to the tripod is wobbly and no matter how much you tighten all the fixings and the handle it is impossible to keep it still. Not great when you spend ages setting it up and need to keep the position. The red dot finder seems to be useless and it points absolutely nowhere near where the scope is pointing. It has lots of adjustment but is very loose and won’t stay in position. Not off to a great start. This was a gift for an adult and I’m really disappointed as quickly went from a “wow” present to a “ well I’ve read loads of on line instructions and reviews and watched loads of videos but still can’t get it do anything”. Wish I’d bought something else with proper English instructions and spent serious money. Feels like I’ve bought a cheap Chinese made toy. If someone can help me out I’ll be very grateful. Otherwise - glad I kept the box!! I’m a bit embarrassed that I bought this as a gift. Unless you really know what you’re doing don’t bother buying this. It’s certainly not for beginners yet it is too poor quality for professionals.
