2008 debut album from the young vocalist who stormed into the public consciousness when he auditioned for Britain's Got Talent earlier this year. His talent catapulted him to the finals of the TV show where 14 million people witnessed Andrew giving the performance of a lifetime. The album includes Fauré's infamous 'Pie Jesu' for which Andrew is best known. Other tracks include a version of the classic song 'Bright Eyes' (from the movie Water ship Down) first recorded in 1979 by Art Garfunkel and Eric Clapton's beautiful ballad 'Tears in Heaven' which was written in 1992. Also on the album is 'Walking in the Air', the unmistakable classic from the film the Snowman - a song previously covered by Aled Jones who has proved an inspiration to Andrew and his pursuit of singing as a full time career. Andrew has won the hearts of millions with his angelic voice and his steely determination through difficult times. Now with the release of his debut album, the sky is the limit for Andrew and his incredible talent. With it's intensity and purity of voice, this album will take your breath away. Andrew is the modern icon for triumph over adversity. Syco.

Andrew Johnston - Voice of an angel!
I bought this CD having only heard one song from it and I'm thrilled to say that it is fabulous!Andrew Johnston has in some ways had a tough young life so far and sought solace singing in his church. Thank goodness he did, or we may never have been privileged to listen to this young man. The purity of his voice cannot fail to move you. Listen to the feeling in the songs on this CD and just enjoy!! The mix and choice of songs is perfect and my only criticism is that when I play it, it finishes far too soon.Highly recommended - and certainly a true, natural talent to watch out for in the future. I think even when Andrew Johnston's voice breaks, his will be a really good voice still - think of Aled Jones.Love this CD, just love it!

"One Voice" Andrew Johnston
I thoroughly enjoyed the content of the CD. Andrew's Panis Angelicus was absolutely exquisite; to die for. I played that over and over again. On some tracks I found the music and choristers occasionally drowned out our Andrew but that did not detract (for me) from the overall enjoyment. This is a "must have" and I am delighted to "have".

A wonderful musical experience.
It is wonderful to listen to Andrew Johnston's clear singing, without all the hype that television surrounded him in. This is a voice in a thousand - I play it over and over and still I enjoy it. For sheer beauty and wonderful musicianship, I would recommend this.

Fantastic high notes!
This cd is a must for choir-lovers, and I have to say it's a pure joy in high and "clean" notes, absolutely fantastic! It met my expectations in every way, and I have listened to it over and over again.

Why I bought this cd
Already owned a copy which I love (wrote to Andrew when he was starting out and have a reply from him). This was for a friend who had heard my CD.
