JFC, Katsuo Fumi Furikake Rice Seasoning, 1.7 Oz

This is my favorite rice seasoning, in particular, the Katsuo Fumi Furikake. It adds just the right amount of flavor to rice and elevates it. It lasts a long time too, and for fresheness I would recommend putting it in your fridge. The price is excellent, and you are getting an authentic Japanese blend. I am friends with an elderly Japanese man and he uses this brand.

I love adding this to my sushi rice and so do my children. It’s especially good when paired with Kewpie mayo. A little goes a long way and it adds much needed texture to plain rice, a little crunch. This is different from the original and it has a strong fish flavor. If you are not a fish lover I would try using the original. I still prefer the original but I do like pairing this with my salmon.
