Working good!
I bought these for my Tekno ET410.2. Had this for a few weeks, nice quiet fan, keeps things cool, no issues yet.

High powered, high voltage capability. Soldered direct to ESC power leads. Works flawless. Keeps motor cool as it should.

Fits perfectly on XR8
Arrived a day ahead of schedule and fit my Hobbywing XR8 ESC perfectly. I did have to switch out the plug (wouldn’t hold tight with original plug, other ESCs may not have that problem)) and put in the Hobbywing plug but that kind of thing is typical at this level of the hobby. And the 2 pack means I have a backup available. Always a good thing if you’re a racer.

Powerful little guys
These things put out a substantial amount of air. Just took one zip tie to attach it to my motor. I recommended using zip ties as they are the easiest way to attack these fans. You could use screws and attach them to a heat sink. Either way works. This thing will cool your esc or motor though!

Not as advertised.
These are advertised as 4.8v to 6v. The fans themselves are actually labeled 5v. Now, I have some Arduino 5v fans that run quiet and cool at 6v. They pull .043 amps after starting up at .052. That’s at a full volt over rated capacity. These Apex fans pull .192 amp at 6 volts, and .154 at 5 volts. About 4X the current of the other fans. These “6v” fans push more air, but not much, and they vibrate and make noise, which I did NOT expect from a ball bearing fan. The 5v units are quiet and vibration free. I’m trying hard to justify this new batch, but I find no reason to accept them apart from the specified ratings. The realities are backwards. I’m probably going to return these. I’m letting one “burn in”. But it doesn’t appear to be improving. I ran in the 5v fans for over two hours and they actually dropped in current consumption, stayed cool and quiet. Darned disappointed in these Apex fans. Almost certainly return items.

Apex fans 30x30x10 two pack #8030
I ordered two Apex fans and neither of them worked. The plug that attaches to the esc was made wrong. One of the wires pulls out of the plug. On the other one the plug was mashed and or bent in production and no connection or voltage. I sent a text explaining the issue, and I got the usual "send it back". I am tired of sending products back because of poor assembly, inattention to detail, and receiving new products that don't even work out of the package. I won't be ordering from Apex again! I cut off the plug, wired it direct, and the fan works fine. Do you get the story now. End of Story.
