The charger works for my laptop, but it occasionally seems to get really hot and makes me nervous that is may overheat

Works great. Compared to the power cable/adapter that came with my Lenovo ThinkPad T470, the adapter box on this unit is maybe two times larger, and the cable itself on the adapter is much thicker. Also, the adapter box is about 2 ft closer to the laptop (power cable is 2' longer, adapter cable is 2' shorter). This is a bit annoying because the heavy adapter box is usually hanging in mid-air off the edge of the desk/etc rather than lying on the floor, but that's a minor concern and may not impact most buyers. So far I'd highly recommend this as a replacement cable or extra one for in your backpack or briefcase.

This was exactly what I needed for my laptop since it's well out of warranty and the one that came with my laptop died on me.

It works well if you’re looking for a temporary charger. For me, it only lasted about two months. So, I broke down and got the original charger.

The product did what they said it would. I have been very happy with it. I use it daily.

A month in of daily use and it does what it is supposed to do exactly like the OEM charger.
