I'm sure your Jeep will pull it just fine. The drag is not all that big, just 5' x 5' it helps to hang a cross-tie off the back-end to help smooth things. But it still takes a lot of passes to make an impact.

The posts are 3/8 inch thick and about 4 inches long.

Q: Would this rip roots up form the ground?

Very light roots maybe. It will pull out some weeds when we run it over the arena, but it probably wouldn't do the same in dense dirt.
