Totally satisfied
Very happy to have found this heating element for my Mr. Steam equipment. I thought it was going to be hard to find it but with the product diagram and model number I could figure out with no doubt. Now my equipment is working as it should.

Terrible customer service. Do not stand behind their product.
The product arrived on time, and looked to be refurbished. I installed it, and it worked for a few weeks then failed. I sent it back expecting a refund or replacement, but got nothing. They said it was installed improperly not knowing anything about the simple installation - just jumped to conclusion that it could not be their defective product. Very rude, disrespectful, and entitled attitude. Do not but from this company.

I think the company, Mr. Steam, rates very poorly in customer service but this vender is excellent.
Mr. Steam could possibly rate among the worst customer service companies ever. If you think they will ever honor a warranty you are delusional. No matter what goes wrong, it will not be covered. They will find some excuse not to honor their lifetime warranty. At least this has been my experience with them. That said, this vender is wonderful for parts. I wish I could Mr Steam a zero and this vender a 5 star review.

Wasted effort and time
I purchased this to replace a bad heating element in our Mr Steam shower. After a little over 3 years it failed, the original lasted 15 years. It is such a pain to remove the steam unit to work on it, I would not recommend going thru all that work for a heating element that will fail. When I reached out to the seller they didn't even respond to my message with in the Amazon portal.Bad product and bad customer service..

Removal is easy
Removal of the old element is easy. First, make sure the electric is off. This heater uses 240v which is dangerous. Turn off the water supply to the unit. After removing the electric leads, remove the 6 nuts and washers that hold the unit in. Wiggle till it comes loose. Water will run out of the tank so have a big bucket ready to capture the water that's in the tank.

I saved $1200. This works!
Our steam shower had stopped working completely. It took about 30 minutes to install the new heater element. Turned the power back on after the installation and we have steam again. It’s pretty easy if you’re handy. A local plumber wanted to charge $1200 to do the job!
