The Emperor's New Groove: The Ultimate Groove (Two-Disc Collectors Edition) [DVD]

Back when Disney was actually still making some movies that were healthy and good for children, this was one of those and has been a family favorite. Wouldn't watch Disney now to save my life!

This is a decent movie gets better toward the end. Would I get it again probably not.

A classic and underrated amazing movie!

For how old this movie is I’m thankful that I got it for a great price! The way it should be. Just as funny back then, as it is now with no offensive humor, but just good vibes. Boom baby!

The Emperor's New Groove is one hour and eighteen minutes and was released in theaters on December 15, 2000. The films tells the story of Emperor Kuzco who has and ego as big as his kingdom, self centered and does not like to be touched. Emperor Kuzco fires Yzma, his advisor, mainly for making decisions without his approval. Also Emperor Kuzco has invited Pacha over to his palace to give him advice (unknown to Pacha at the time) where to build his summer home. Later that evening Yzma invites Emperor Kuzco to dinner to show that there is no hard feelings. The truth of the matter is she is planning to kill Emperor Kuzco and makes herself ruler. Something goes wrong with the plan and instead of killing him, turns Emperor Kuzco into a llama. Kronk is told to finish the job, but looses Kuzco in the process. Kuzco is saved by Pacha unintentionally and is brought to his village home. Kuzco discovers that he has been turned into a llama and orders Pacha to take him back to his village. Pacha refuses unless the Emperor moves his summer home somewhere else. Kuzco heads back to the palace himself against the warnings Pacha that there are jaguars in the jungle. Kuzco winds up being chased by the jaguars and is rescued by Pacha. When Pacha gives him his shirt to stay warm Kuzco begins to have a change of heart, but is back to his old self when the two head back to the palace. Kuzco goes back on his deal with Pacha but when he saves Pacha he realizes that he needs him to get back to the palace and as a friend too since he has none. The race is on to get back to the palace to make Kuzco human again. In the end the two manage to outwit Yzma, turn Kuzco human, and Kuzco and Pacha become great friends. Kuzco does not build a palace but a small hut next to Pacha's hut. The Emperor's New Groove does not have the same Disney magic as past Disney movies and the only song in the movie is during the end of film when the credits are rolling. The film only profited sixty-million dollars while past films grossed more in profits. The Emperor's New Groove did get favorable reviews from movie critics. Is your kid selfish beyond belief than pop in this film and hopefully it will sink in how bad he/she is being and how much this will come back too bite them.

Dos películas de las más graciosas de Disney al precio de uno, que más se puede pedir, estas versiones cuentan con su audio latino pero no contiene material extra que digamos, solo son las películas.

Genial

Un dessin animé à 1000 à l'heure, version comédie musicale. Délirant. Cela plait beaucoup à mes deux enfants qui connaissent toutes les répliques par cœur !
