I’ve tried multiple different brands over the years, and this Stanley food jar is by far my favorite. The key is to follow the instructions and pour hot water inside for a few minutes before adding the food — once you do that, it works amazingly well. My preteen uses it for school, and she says her food stays hot all the way until lunchtime. The quality is excellent, and the color is beautiful in person. She loves carrying it, and the built-in spork on the side is such a convenient bonus. It’s sturdy, reliable, and definitely worth the price. This is the only food jar we’ll be buying from now on!

I bought this for my daughter to take her lunch to school in. The first day, I put hot food straight into it, but by lunchtime (about 4-5 hours later), she said it was barely warm. The next day, I tried a different method: I poured in boiling water, closed the lid, let it sit for about 5 minutes, then dumped the water and added her food. She said it was still hot at lunchtime! I've done this every day since, and no more complaints about cold food. So just make sure to preheat it first. It makes all the difference. Highly recommend once you get the prep routine down! Great Quality. Size is Perfect. Color looks great. It's a bit heavier than other thermos but not by much. Definitely worth the price. Recommend. 5 STARS
