Treated myself to a used Nikon D4s, suddenly realized that I had no XQD cards and no way to read them, LOL, a little behind the curve maybe?Anyway after a quick search I found this reader, not hugely expensive, SD reader as well and with an adapted USB plug so I can use it with my mobile as well as the Laptop. I've already used it several times to transfer RAW files into lightroom and it's working a treat, good transfer speeds and no issues. Recommended for the price, a very hand bit of kit :)

A very small package, it's incredibly useful having the two - XQD and SD - readers on one stick. They work well too, fast and simple to insert and expel from the reader. If your camera, like my Nikon Z6 i uses XQD and SD cards, this is a no-brainer.

The company delivered this really quick which was great.However, the build quality of this card reader is not good, almost to the point of worrying for the media you're putting into the slots. I tried twice to transfer from the SD slot. It started then ejected the disk. I also had an XQD card which the card reader didn't like and suggested I 'initialise' it. I will update this review if I get back to base and realise that it's a card issue not a card-reader issue, but I suspect I know the problem.UPDATE:The USB-C plug needs to be really forced into the slot until there's a kind of 'click'. Now it's working fine (on a different computer.)So it works! But I'm still not sure I'd completely trust it on an urgent project but I've increased the score to reflect the speed of delivery.

I bought this product after using a similar one and needed it for usb-c connector. When I put my card into it there was an immediate fault and I lost all my photos , I contacted the customer support but nothing so purchased a recover programe and got most photos back. I thought it might be my card but tried it with an old reader and it worked fine. Took more photos and put the card back into the reader and woof all picture lost. This is definitely the card reader that has a fault but after more emails to supplier they seem to just ignore me. BEWARE of this product it’s not good

Good lead . Reads most cards, very easy to setup

I needed something to transfer photos from my camera to laptop without using Bluetooth. I saw this and thought I would give it a try for the money. Really impressed as it just plugged in, accepted my memory card and off we went. I wasn’t too sure if the transfer would be up to much but i was wrong. The pictures transferred incredibly well. Note that i am not a professional photographer .

Whilst my memory card fits it does not work .instructions say that card must H ,or S or N series my card does not . It does not fit into IPad either

I am glad I bought this as it will fit on my USB and usb-c ports, it is quite fast to transfer my 4k videos to computer, so far I am satisfied with my purchase.
