Enigma Hardcover – 29 April 2025

Enigma by RuNyx reviewI'm giving the whole stars available in every galaxy for this book. And many of you may know what will be the reason behind these stars, only one name is enough - RuNyx. It took me 8 days to complete as I wanted to inhale this whole book slow and steady. I have much more to say but this is not the place I can write everything. I will post a detailed review on Goodreads.

Salem and Caz a match made in Heaven Or should I say in the depths of hell. Two troubled souls finding their way to each other. You could feel their turmoil as your own. The spice level was right up the alley and didn't feel forced or over the top like is a trend nowadays. Interactions between the characters felt genuine and magical. The mystery was a bit obvious and the ending felt rushed but it was wrapped up well. I wish though that I could make out the identity of the person with Lara.Overall a great read that's making me want more of Ru's books

Best book ever I have read runyx is my favorite author I have read dark verse series also its so amazing.

I was looking forward to Enigma. Given it's a standalone from RuNyx, and I liked Gothikana. However, this was a 2.5/5 read. The suspense wasn't as thrilling after two-fourth of the book because the bigger mystery is kind of solved (in my head) except the "why".The relationship between the FMC and MMC lacked the usual chemistry and a deeper connection that RuNyx books comes with, but their individual character arc and their backstory were better in comparison. The plot setting, the narrative style, the darkly alluring character traits and the psychological aspects of the book were well-written and kept the plot progressing.I would have DNF'd the book if not for my curiosity to know the motive, but the climax scene fell flat in the end.
