I have severe allergies to dust and pet dander (but I love my fur babies). The moment I kicked on my furnace I got a sinus infection. I decided to try putting an extra filter on the air intakes to prevent extra crap from going into my furnace and it has not failed! It has been a week and I can see the build up on the filters. It also allows air through very well so it doesn’t put strain on the furnace fan. I can easily vacuum it away. I chose this because you can cut it to the size you need. Will definitely be buying again for when what I have starts to wear down from multiple vacuuming sessions.
