Minnetonka Men's Leather Laced Softsole Moccasin Brown 10.5 D(M) US

These arrived sooner than anticipated which was a definite plus and are as described. Other than I believe that they need to be broken in, they fit fairly true to size but does feel a little tight across the top of my feet. I will continue working with finding the appropriate adjustment for the top to find where it doesn't hurt the top of my feet.

They are nice just a little stiff, the lace is dried out and won't stay tied. But I will use mink oil to soften it up. Sometimes things dry out I know that. That said they are comfortable.

This was a wise purchase and one that I delayed for many years. I used to wear moccasins by Minnetonka in the early 70's and loved the way they fit and how durable they wore both indoors and outdoors. I read all the reviews and settled on ordering my moccasins at a half size larger then normal. Well, it's winter and I am wearing socks so they fit perfectly on first try. Now a week later I wish that I had ordered them per my regular shoe size. I know now that they are stretching and are already feeling a bit loose so I will need to order another pair to go sans socks during the spring and summer. I do love the comfort of these moccasins and although I don't remember a cushioned insole from my earlier years I can say these are truly a comfortable foot wear. I am not likely to wear these outside (although I want to) I haven't worn a pair of shoes in the house in over 30 years. Perhaps another pair for outside and driving. I had an older pair that I all but wore out over a good 10 years. Finally I had to break down and buy a new pair. The only thing that seems to go wrong with these is the leather corded knots on the side don't last. I've gotten now so I dab a bit of glue on them to help them stay snug. Even the bow knot, I'll glue as well. Otherwise these are good around the house slippers / house shoe.
