Amazing carry-on that is roomy, organized, and rolls smoothly
I’m really impressed with this Away lightweight hardside carry-on luggage. It has quickly become my go-to suitcase for every trip. The interior holds much more than I expected for a carry-on, and the organization features make packing and unpacking very easy. Everything stays in place, and it is simple to separate outfits, shoes, and accessories without things getting messy. One of my favorite things about this suitcase is how smoothly it rolls. The wheels glide effortlessly through airports and over uneven surfaces, and I never feel like I have to fight with it while walking. Despite being lightweight, the shell feels sturdy and durable. I have not noticed any scuffs or issues after multiple trips. If you are looking for a reliable, well-organized carry-on that holds a lot and travels smoothly, this is a great choice.

Perfect carry on luggage
Great luggage. I have a few other sizes of Away and they have all worked perfectly. This size is perfect carry on. Rolls smoother and effortlessly. Plenty of space for a carry on and good organization pockets inside. Lightweight and durable.

Great suitcase
I bought this for a 2 week trip to Japan and it fit everything I needed, plus souvenirs to bring home. Super easy to roll around through the airport and Tokyo streets and underground, where there are many bumps for blind navigation. The zippers were super smooth to open and close and it handled baggage claim like a champ. Though it did fit everything I needed it to, I did miss the ability to expand it like with may other suitcases I’ve owned, but I managed well enough.

Perfect size, lovely to look at and a dream to wheel around the airport and city
Love the size, fits carryon limits for most of not all domestic airlines. Elegant style and color. Only wish there was a zipperless version in this size. Overall the quality is good with nice design consideratioms, especially in how the interior is organized. The shell is very thin which makes it lightweight and somewhat flexible but it almost feels like one hard crack against something sharp would break through it. It's holding up well so far though!

Great Suitcase Upgrade After 15 Years
I’ve always loved my TravelPro suitcase. It lasted me 15 years, which was a real testament to the quality of the product. When it finally broke, I was looking for a suitable replacement. As a frequent traveler, a new suitcase is a big purchase, so I spent a lot of time reading reviews. At the top of all the big lists (Wire Cutter, etc.) was the Away Carry On suitcase. Based on what I read, I decided to give this case a try. So far, I’ve taken it on two short trips and I’m preparing to take it overseas. I am extremely satisfied with the purchase. The wheels are strong, durable, and glide easily over any type of a surface. The case itself is lightweight, and that really matters when you're packing for airplane travel. I’m also amazed at how much I can fit inside, thanks to the compression pad. The compression pad really works wonders (amazing - with packing cubes). I love that the suitcase is lightweight and I can squish everything down to fit a bunch of stuff in it. The biggest pull for me was the lifetime warranty. That’s what sold me on the suitcase. If a wheel breaks or something happens to the handle, Away will fix it for the life of the product. It makes this competitive with Briggs and Riley, which is another suitcase manufacturer that I was also considering.

Best for Quick Trips
This is a nice looking small suitcase that is easy to load in the overhead bin. It has outside handles on the top, bottom and side for easy grabbing/carrying. The wheels are smooth for easy motoring around an airport and other surfaces. I've used it about 4-5 times for short 1-3 night trips, and it seems pretty durable with no visible wear yet. I got a few scuffs, but was able to buff them away with a little paste cleaner and a microfiber towel (I misplaced the sponge that came with the bag). See before/after photos. The blue is a classy color, but popular. It came with a laundry bag and I like the zippered compartments for organization. This is their smallest bag and has no zippered extra capacity for expansion. For longer trips (with no checked baggage) or if you might be carrying home souvenirs, etc., I would consider getting the Bigger Carry-On with Expansion. I always have to carry a backpack with this bag for extra stuff.

Perfect!
I absolutely love this suitcase. I researched a lot and finally decided to spend the money and try it. I'm so glad I did! I love the way the interior is designed, the wheels and the lock. It's very beautiful too! I bought another for my husband and bought the medium size flex one for both of us as well.
