I bought several things to supplement my instant pot with. This was one that I almost didn't get because I was getting the stackable steamer pots as well. I use this more often and I like it better - so surprise surprise. I would suggest getting it. You can put stews in it and avoid the BURN that comes with things sitting on the bottom of the pot too long. I also suggest getting an extra pot and silicon lids to everyone -

Strong Bags
Yes, you must tear them apart perhaps carefully. I haven't tried to just rip them appart carelessly, but the bags are very strong and great for my kitchen trashcan. Sizes in the store are either too small or too big so I was dellighted to find these and even more delighted when they arrived and I found them so durable.

This is a very nicely built steamer basket. It has a wonderful fit and finish to it. I would definitely recommend this steamer basket if you're looking for one.

Tamales Basket
Just what we needed to stream homemade tamales in our pressure cooker. The correct size for a 6 qt cooker. Good quality.Highly recommend.

Sturdy basket and so many ways to use it
I really like my steamer basket. It expands ways to use my Instant Pot pressure cooker. I cooked potatoes in my basket for potato salad. Lift basket out and they are immediately drained. I also used it for baked apples. It is a sturdy basket. Glad I did not wait for Christmas to get it!

Quality Product at a Great Price
The quality of the basket is great. I like the coated trivet feet and handle, it makes it easy to safely remove it from the instant pot. I finally had a chance to use the steamer basket the other day and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality item.

Very hand and well made. A must have for the instant pot. I use it for eggs, vegetables and rinsing rice. Love it!
