Q: Will this fit on an AM5 motherboard, like a B650?

Dear Customer. This cooler is compatible with this motherboard.

Q: how do you know which direction the air flow is?

This is exactly my problem with these fans: no arrow indicating air flow direction on them. You have to connect them to find it out experimentally :(

Q: This is my 1st ever real cooler im using. game temps are usually 58c-65c and if the game is badly optimzed than around 75c. are those good numbers ?

Would need to know more about your system, but it's not terrible. On my 7800X3D, the system idles around 40c. Game temps can be around 50-60 normally. Stress testing at full load usually hits about 80. This CPU is good to about 95c before it will start to thermal throttle.
