I'm not sure how old...however, it may be from Canada, I know they still sell it in stores there. Still smells the same

Q: Is this item suppose to smell like ralph lauren

Don't know... best way I can describe it is fresh with a subtle musk. It's not soft smelling like a bar of soap has a bit of a sharper smell. It really does smell like the sea.
