Quit working not much after I got it put new batteries in it again and it just don't work! Past the return day, I guess

This thing is kind of a mixed bag. Poor design choices. If you follow their instructions and use it as they propose, it’s almost silent. So if you want to hear water droplets you’re out of luck. This is due to the lower platform being so close to the base , there isn’t enough distance to cause a splash, it more of a pour. To add to this they state to use so little water that there is not really enough to make a sound. The included rocks can also dampen the sound. So it’s pretty much all form and no function. What I did to tweak it is added more water, by turning the pump off and add more until it’s about an 1/8th of an inch from top of the base. I then removed the lowest platform, (a firm tug in the upward direction does it), and moved the rocks away from where the water falls. Now it actually sounds like a fountain. I gave it 3 stars because it was cheap, and works as it should now, but you shouldn’t have to fix a brand new product to make it work as intended.

This item looks very nice and a dood size for a table top fountain. Positives: It works well does not splash at all, works quietly. The rocks are cute, I wish there were a bit more of them. Negatives: battery operated, no AC or USB charger. The water flows very quietly so all you hear is the sound of the pump. It is not loud at all but I wish water sound would prevail.

It’s the right size for the coffee table

It's cute but two things to keep in mind 1) the rocks provided cover about 60% of the surface and 2) you can't leave it on more than 8h. Aside from that, I think it's super cute.
