Exceptional product. Our dog had an injury to one fool and the toes became flacid. She would walk on the top of her foot instead of the bottom. We had difficulty finding products to correct this issue, even bought an AFO that was supposed to correct her issue, it didn't fit and we lost our money... Then we found this product, LOVE IT, it has a cloth boot with a rubberized bottom. You fit it to your dogs paw and then strap it around the leg: another strap keeps the foot pulled up and prevents her from walking on the top of her foot. Her wounds are finally healing and she is walking better than she has in over a year! LOVE this product and highly recommend it!

(4.5 stars)Writing this for our German Shepherd mix who is using XL boot on his rear leg. He's recently started 4 meds for an initial diagnosis of hip dysplasia, mostly to treat his inflammation and pain. I suspect that may not be the complete diagnosis for his mobility issue so monitoring his progress. Sadly, he only gets short walks now.I was disheartened when he started to drag his rear paw to the point of bleeding. We stopped his walks until we tried this contraption.I am really happy that it worked! Initially I didn't install it properly and it kept slipping off when he walked. I was ready to give up. If you experience this, please be patient and try adjusting the fit. After some adjustments, he was able to take an entire walk (albeit short one) without constant stops to get the boot back on his leg. He's not dragging the boot so the design is helping him pick up his toe as he walks. I like the dial that allows me to easily adjust the tension to keep his toe up, but not too tight where it's uncomfortable or unnatural for his natural stride (as far as I can tell).I am withholding the 0.5 stars until I get a better sense of its durability:1- Wear - We've used this for about 1.5 weeks and only for short outdoor walks on concrete sidewalks. The rubber nubs on the bottom of the boot has just about worn down. I sure hope this lasts for more than a couple of months.2- Tear - The plastic (?) wire that connects the upper and lower parts of the boot to raise the toe looks delicate considering it has to pick up the stride for my 80-pound dog. I don't know what weight it is rated for but I sure hope it is stronger than it looks. It would be a shame if we had to replace the boot because the wire fails.This was kind of expensive but relative to his medication cost and considering it is allowing him to have at least short walks without hurting himself, it's worth the money. He loves his walks! We love our dog dearly. We want him to have a good quality of life as long as possible. This product is helping with that.

Impressed with this product. High quality construction and durable. My dog had no issues wearing it and the device did not create any abrasion issues with her leg. I was also impressed that it stayed quite secure to her leg...no issues with it fall off or her working it off. I suspect she likes the support the brace provides. Make sure to carefully measure/size per the website details....the item has to fit snugly....not too loose or tight. I felt it was pricy at first but satisfied with the quality of this item once I received it and started using it with my dog.

This brace was exactly what we needed. Our GSD sprained their front leg wrist joint. We needed to splint it. However, this caused knuckling with our pup. Thus, we bought this brace to combat the knuckling and applied the support for her leg outside this brace with self adhesive wrap. It worked beautifully. The dial allows you to easily dial in to the perfect amount of adjustment to ensure the paw lands on the ground appropriately with no additional injury. We would not hesitate to buy this product again if we ever needed a different size for one of our other dogs.

Received the brace January 13 today is January 23rd. The metal loop on the toe has already come off as the stitching broke loose. The Velcro strap that connects the tow with the hawk does not provide enough length on the sticky side to adjust. I ended up using a heavy duty stapler to reconnect the toll loop cut off the Velcro and used a long shoe string to connect the toe loop to the loop at the hock. This seems to work for now. I gave it a three because I don't think it is worth the price.UPDATE: fast-forward three days to January 26. So this product has almost completely worn out after 13 days! The concept is great the quality is a zero and by no means worth the $75. Check with your local vet for another solution. A second clasp loop broke so I sewed it back on with upholstery thread hoping it will hold longer, the Velcro no longer sticks so I replaced it with a shoe string and I had to glue a non-skid furniture pad on the bottom because the rubber soul wore completely smooth in this short period of time and my dog was sliding all over slick surfaces. This is not a $75 product. That would discourage you from wasting money.02.01.25: Follow-up. I want to give the seller credit for standing behind their product as they sent me a replacement immediately so I did increase the star rating. If you're unable to attain the proper adjustment using the Velcro toe loop just replace it with a shoe string and that gives you a bit more flexibility. The product does eliminate the knuckling.

I can't thank this dog brace enough! My 118-pound giant Schnauzer, Truman, struggled with a buckling foot, making it difficult for him to stand and walk. I was terrified that we might have to make a heartbreaking decision about his future.After trying numerous braces without success, we finally found this one, and it works wonders! The design is incredibly effective and fits him perfectly in XL. Truman can walk again without his foot dropping, and he’s so much happier now.This brace has truly been a gift from above, saving my dog's life! Highly recommend!
