Q: How often do you clean the bidet (not the self clean feature, i mean soap and water.)?

It started leaking water all over my floor from some hole under the control

Q: Does this raise the back of the seat higher than the front?

Yes, just a little (ultra-thin bidet attachment only 5mm). You can take some seat bumpers for installation if you mind.

Q: Do these work on round toilets?

Yes they work on round & oval toilets. We have both.

Q: What are the fitting sizes of the 0.8m braided steel hose on each end? I would like to add a shut off valve.

The answer given was 3/8". That is the size of the flexible hose. The end pieces are, obviously, two different sizes. What is the size of each end. I tried to attach a photo, but won't accept any format. So, I made a short video so you can see the size differences.
