After having this for a few months I feel I can effectively review it. I think that this carpet cleaner is easy to use and easy to clean out afterwards. Sections come apart easy and I love the way you can clean the hose out with the machine so it doesn't end up going brown and smelly. I think the formula works well but is expensive as the machine will use it up quickly. Especially if you are doing a whole house or large rooms. The range of attachments are great and the hose suction is fantastic to really pull out dirt. The issue I found was with the stain striker and stairs. It works great on stains as the name implies but to use this on stairs isn't great as it uses the stain striker solution. If you want to clean stairs with normal cleaner, I think the spray isn't enough to do a good job. I found a solution to this taht works well utilising the good suction and attachments though, and this was to make up some carpet cleaner in a bucket and use a brush to work it in doing one stair at a time and sucking up the excess and dirt from the carpet. They came up really nice. In a house with dogs and light(ish) carpets, this keeps things looking good especially in wet weather. Hope this review helps

Cleans carpets really well and leaves them almost dry. The cleaning solution included is in very small bottles so doesn’t go far and is fairly expensive to buy but well worth it. Easy to use and has attachments for stairs etc. very happy with product.

Can't belive how fantastic this machine is, its lightweight and so easy to set up and use, I didnt even need to read the instructions (I read them after lol) I vacuumed before I used the cleaner and I was shocked at what it picked up, the rug is 6 months old and gets vacuumed daily. I thoroughly recommend this, so simple to use so effective, it brought my rug up like new. It was a really good price, Shark goods are always good quality and this is no exception

Love this carpet cleaner! Super convenient, the stain striker attachments are brilliant. Carpets arr dry fast. The solution is expensive but cleans really well and smells amazing. Comes apart to clean. It's difficult to get hair out ofbthe tank but manageable. Very happy with it overall

Absolutely brilliant carpet cleaner. With having 5 dogs my carpets can get grubby. I've cleaned all my carpets & they have come up like new !! WOW What a difference & fresh smelling. The dry mode helps to dry them quicker too. I have tried other branded shampooers but they have nothing on the Shark I have a shark hoover so I knew I was buying a good brand. Exceptional value for money. 5********

I am not big for reviews, but quick pros and cons, tried 3 different vacumes and I like this one,used twice so far. Pros: Easy to set up, works great so far, and is REALLY easy to clean. Got the just dry option after wash, does switch ofd as soon as dirty tank is too full for its likes. Comparing to other cleaners, does work fast and well Cons: it is real laud, but that is to be expected.. and when using hand spot on attachments_ the finish off just dry option is not included. Which again makes samse, but just a shame really. But that could be my technology issue. :D

I am so impressed with this product. It only arrived this morning, and, because I had a really nasty stain in the middle of my carpet, I decided to try it out straight away. I quickly read the instructions and dropped the handle in place.(Only assembly that was required, so it was extremely easy. The product is lightweight - similar to the Shark upright vac I already own, and about half the weight of my previous carpet cleaner. I must admit, because of its weight, I was a little concerned it wouldn't be as good as my previous carpet cleaner. How wrong I was. Filling it with warm water was easy, and then adding the concentrate. I gave the carpet a good vacuum first and then went in with the CarpetXpert. Wow! I thought my previous carpet cleaner had been good - this was brilliant. I have a light-coloured carpet and a dog with extremely big feet. (Yep, I am that stupid!) With the first pass, it was like a new carpet, and relatively dry. The cleaner has a warning indicator when the dirty water tank is getting full and switches itself off, which I think is a good idea. The tank appears to be completely watertight with no leakage when I removed it for emptying. And, ugh, the water inside it was horrible, dirty, bits of grit and dog hair, they were all inside the tank. The quality of the cleaning was fantastic, and the suction for removing the dirt and water was remarkable. Considering its compact size, the effectiveness of this cleaner is hard to imagine. I would thoroughly recommend it . I am so impressed I'm going to go and clean another carpet right now.

Had this for a few months now and can say its incredible. I literally did not think some stains would come out of the carpet and bought just to see if it could make the carpet a little better and I was very surprised when it cleared everything up even an old oil stain that was there for nearly 3 years. The unit has everything you need and find the cleaning solution is cheep in the right shop. My sister has now got the same one after seeing how good my one did the carpets. Only down side is the waste, it fill up fast but good quick release to empty however the hair catcher is difficult to get the hair out unless you use a knife or tooth pick. Apart from that though its definitely worth the price when on discount.
