Gave most of them to friends as gifts but the one I kept works great and gets the job done. I clip it to my belt and it’s a lot easier then fumbling in my pockets for something when you on a boat or the side of the water

My husband saw this advertised and couldn’t wait to get it. He loves it. Makes it so much easier to tie knots with. He had read some of the reviews and comments that were made, which lead him to believe it would be more difficult to use than shown and that no instructions were included. That was not the case. Instructions were included and if you needed more of a visual instruction, you can view a video on line.

Just received 2 of these the other day. I haven’t had a chance to use them yet, but for the price I really can’t complain...... the file and hook holder are attached with a rivet and I feel it could be a weak point and could fall apart. Time will tell if the hold up but for now, they seem fine.

For the price, this is outstanding. In trying to research the best rated device for tying fishing lines, this came out on top. Being older, and relatively new to fishing again, I wanted something that can help me tie fishing knots quicker. This has helped. My only criticism is for me, the instructions were rather poor. They are tiny pictures which did not help that much. But eventually I figured it out, and also found a video on a similar product, which provided more help.

I like this tool and the convenience of the lanyard reel is nice.

My wife and I use these for trout fishing to cut the fishing line. Keeps it secured to the vest with the retractable lanyard. It's not a cheap lanyard like some I've seen. They have lasted for a couple of years and still going.

Great product. Not to crazy about the sharpness of the cutter. You have to do a quick snap or cutter gets stuck. With braid you have to hold down cutter and pull one end of braid. The braid i tried was 65 pound test so I was like maybe it's too thick tried with 30 pound and same thing.
