Q: How often does Rain-X need to be reapplied?

Degrades much quicker if you park in the sun during the day. Our garaged vehicle can be applied twice/year and it's fine. Typically don't even use wipers when it rains, which makes it last longer. Car in the sun apply 3-4 times/year, depending...live in northern climate so apply right before winter, and it helps with ice/etc removal, but too cold to reapply until spring.

Q: Approximately how many applications is this bottle (7 oz.) good for?

Of course it depends on size of windshield, but in my experience with a Toyota 4runner and an Infiniti g35x a full bottle of rainx will generally give 15-20 complete windshield applications

Q: Has anybody tried this on a (plastic) motorcycle visor? Does it work?

Good question, my friend has tried applying it to a motorcycle as you described and his experience was a bad one. He said it took forever to buff off and even then there was a slight haze that remained. Would caution before doing.

Q: How is this stuff applied? with a cloth like a wax?

I used a normal rag (old T-shirt) to apply, you deff, don't want to get too much on your hands, smells like heavy chemicals, Polyurethane base it seems.. it is a liquid not a wax very runny

実績のある撥水性を感じます

以前からレインエックス製品を使っています。今回この商品を選んだ理由も実績からです。塗って間がないので耐久性はわかりませんが、雨の弾きも良くビビっていたワイパーがビビら無くなり良い効果を発揮しています。

外国製品で事前評価は不安でしたが、ガラスに塗る前にキイロビンで油膜をしっかりはがし、塗り込み後拭き上げでバリバリ弾いてます。弾き具合としては某6倍耐久のヤツより少し上回るかな？というくらいです。持続性は分かりません。たっぷり入ってるのでコスパは良いと思います。

アセトン含有につき注意

施工は楽だがアセトン含有の為、スポンジを使用すると一発でボロボロに崩壊するのでペーパータオルや耐薬品用のウエス等での施工をお勧め
