It’s a very pretty set but I don’t think it’s worth the price

The details of each piece amd the board are very well done. The board heavy and quite sturdy.

The product is nice and the price is reasonable. It was a delay on delivery, it's OK I got it before Christmas.

I seldom write reviews but when I am so impressed by a product and the seller, I must.First, the quality of the set. Beyond my expectations. I was skeptical when I saw the pictures on Amazon but I will second another review: the pieces actually look better in person than they do in the pictures.Second, the seller: HotProducts customer support is outstanding. They went out of their way to expedite a replacement board (the first one arrived broken in half - almost certainly the shipper's fault) that arrived well before Christmas. They could have blown me off and told me it would arrive after Christmas, but they didn't. I have seldom, maybe never, received better customer service. I will definitely buy from them again.

This is a beautiful set. The shapes are great, but it would be better if the color was more brilliant. As you view your pieces from behind, the differences between the 2 beige colors on the backs of the pieces does not adequately differentiate between yours and the others pieces. Even so, I would've given the set a 5 is there was a proper storage case. I'll have to use the shipping box until I make one of my own. That's a definite issue to consider when purchasing.

This set just arrived. Very heavy…which I wanted. I am teaching my grandsons chess and this set makes it so exciting since pieces are easily identifiable and make sense. The knights look like knights, etc… Worth the cost!

Not the best for teaching a young child as some pieces it’s not always easy to see if it’s white or dark. Our dark queen the back is white. It would be a improvement if the bases were different colors
