Calpico Citrusy Flavor Soft Drink in Can, 11.3-Ounce (Pack of 8)

A friend recommended this drink for me to try. I personally liked it and found it refreshing but I gave one too my mother and she didn’t like it. I would say it has a mild yogurt sort of flavor or slightly citrusy. In my opinion it tasted like a lemon flavored Italian soda. I was happy with the deal I got when I purchased it and it was very well boxed/packed and held-up beautifully during shipping. Definitely recommend!

This is a smooth creamy drink that tastes somewhat like a mix of yogurt and citrus. It's sweet but has a tangy acidity. Really refreshing especially in the summer. It's hard to find the original flavor where I live so it's great I can order online. I only wish the price was a little cheaper because it's one of my favorite drinks. I recommend you try it if you haven't already.

While this reminds me of the stuff I used to get while I lived in Japan I wish I could find the super frothy stuff from the soda fountains. The taste is great and not like milk at all. I know it sounds disgusting but the taste really is rather wonderful, nothing like what we have here in the U.S. I had a hard time finding this originally because they market it as Calpico here but in Japan it and most other countries it is Calpis. They realized how it may sound being pronounced and changed it to Calpico for us.

Recieved carbonated Calpico instead, not as good as the original, tastes sort of like watery Sprite. Sort of worried to order again! Love the original Calpico though!

To be clear, Calpico is not a drink that everyone will enjoy. It's a non-carbonated soft drink with a unique flavor. However, for fans of the drink, this is one of the best ways to get it, especially during the quarantine. The cans were well packed to prevent damage and the flavor was on point. I would purchase this again.

Delicious and unique. If you haven't tried this product, you would do yourself good to at least give it a go! The product is called "Calpis" in Japan, and is a popular drink there. If you have tried Calpis while visiting Japan, this is indeed the same drink just a different trade name, but still made by the same folks who make Calpis. If you enjoyed it, this is the best buy.

I used to drink this stuff when we lived in Japan back in the late 60's and I loved it. It came to my mind the other day so I thought I would do a search for it here on Amazon. I was very surprised when I actually found it. Back in Japan we always got it in concentrated form in a large glass bottle. When I found it available in can form I just had to give it a try. With just one sip it unleashed a rush of great memories I have of those days. The taste is just as I remember it and I still love it.
